Completely satisfied with my Blackstars as well, for what they cost. Blackstar isn't being sold on eBay either, That's a different company completely. Wasn't that Mike from Spectra or something?

Someone on here posted a link to the ebay ad where the owner was selling the company, but saying warranties will still be valid, etc. I'm not sure exactly where to find that ad again because it wasn't important enough to keep track of, but i'm pretty sure it wasn't a different company

ive read the things about blackstar and the middle led burning out. the kessels sound amazing but they are a good amount of money. also with the kessel being a cylinder shape would it cover my whole 1.5'x2' area? the tent is 3' tall the pots would be about maybe a foot tall

that sounds wonderful. how many plants could the kessil cover if i kept them short and lst'd? i would probably be doing 12/12 with a kessil and than my 125w mix spectrum cfl for some extra lighting

It was a different ad, much longer, and was much less descriptive as far as price of sale and other details. It could have been for spectra, just a different ad. If so, forgive my mistake.

he had the kessil 150 magneta in a 2 x 3 x 5(tall) and if yout hink about it, the blackstars are around 250+ shipping the kessil 150 is 180 off ebay free shipping personal preference i guess, you could go with a kessil and throw cfls in it if you feel it isnt enough light, but like is aid he told me what he pulled off of it, but im sure its strain dependent and etc. but he jsut let them go no topping no lst no nothing, hes and older guy been growing for 30+ years and only sells hydrofarm and lumigrow LED in his store, he disliked alot of other companies, stating the results ar enot good and he doesnt want to ruin reputation for selling bullshit equipment

considering you'd probably end up paying out half of what you paid for the company in warranty replacements its no deal at all. I'd much rather own illadelph, that would be pretty cool

yea illadelph would be but their rep went way down during owner change but hey the glass industry is a tough industry id rather get into somethign more legit that evryone can use not jsut stoners and tobacco smokers( even though ive never heard of someone using a bong for tobacco lol)
