LED & Humidifier

This may be a dumb question, but is it okay to have a humidifier in a small closet on the floor with light being a few feet above it? the space is 3'x 2' 6'. My RH was low and I need to get it up a bit, so I put a small one in there.

would say check for condensation, or better NO condensation.
a small humi in dry air should be ok, just see that the air really takes all the humidity.
dont set the unit too high, see with your eyes/meters and dial in.

Anyone had calcium build up issues on LEDs? White powder residues ?

Humidifiers cause more problems than they solve in any case.
Unless you’re consistently below 20% I wouldn’t worry and even then plants will be fine as long as heat is in control.

I'd say avoid the ultrasonic or other humidifiers that throw mist in the air, those water particles have minerals in them.
