Hey so I'm running 2x led fixtures 720w a piece have 10x plants in veg started with a smaller led fixture to raise from seed then transplanted into next container, have the led fixtures set to 60% power to giving off I'd say around 432w a piece set at this power level they are about 20inches above the canopy at this point as I moved them from say 14 inches up to that 20 because growth was painfully slow now that I have moved the lights up they are like little bushes or hedging is it just me or am I still too low to the canopy with the lights??? Any advice would be grately appreciated thank you in advance

I had them 6 inches lower than that up until 2 days ago because there was no vertical growth for like a week and I have special insulating mats under all the pots it's hard to see in the pics but they are under each pot

If the lights are indeed a little too high should I not be seeing a little more stretching???

As mentioned a meter can be helpful.

The fan leaves are on the larger side so I am going out on a limb and say your pushing them and they grow big fans.

300-350 ppfd in veg has always worked well for me , growth that changes daily.

720 true Watts they are the low end version of the gavita fixtures just got a lend of a par meter off friend they have been recieving 400-500 ppfd for about 10 days and very little vertical growth I have ran this strain before in another room using 600w digital hps with dual spec bulbs, cool tubes the works too much to explain but never any problem with vertical growth and now 1st time using led and I feel like a school boy again

They’re definitely not too high. Your plants are shrubs because the lights are close. If you want them to stretch just cut the power in half.

There at there minimum only running 60 percent using the gavita rs1 controller can barely stand in the room at there boosted 115 % it's crazy yeah little hedges done some thinning out and tying down earlier to try give the light more penetration too the lower growth so light is at roughly 18-12 inches and getting more than recommended ppfd for this stage and size so I'm baffled to be honest

The controller I have only goes down to 60% that's the lowest then ,75%, 88% ,100%, 115% with a boost surely the couldn't still be too close at almost 20 inches well I would like to think so but who knows I guess
