So P900s are junk yet you never tried one. Kinda odd how that works. Btw I've been at it since 94 learned much from many people. Even from guys growing for just as long. Nobody is professional as everyone grows differently and many ways are just as good as another. In most cases. Your choosing to believe what you want to without testing the facts. Aka a religion/belief not evidence. Acting as if your thoughts or ways are the only way to grow. As if you know everything about lights but the proven tests others have done don't matter. Cause to you its all junk. Btw someone calling themselves a "professional" brings up red flags in my life. Like when hiring roofers for say. They're all professional they'll say. Then come to find once hired they truly don't know how to do anything right. the arrogance n pride of man. But no hate believe what you will. Its your choice my friend. I just know for a fact these lights did a damn fine job.
Talk is cheap as one learns in life. Specially at grow clubs. Everyone there thinks they have the best or are the best aka professionals yet testing shows they are full of crap. people and thier weed they've grown is like a woman with a new born to her its the cutiest baby in the world even if its butt ugly to everyone else. take care bud.

Next time I crop if I remember. will post one for ya. I don't normally do pics online or on my phone for that matter. I just use internet for info. Not bragging rights or for social media aspect. I have nothing to prove as everything is all good here. If I had bad yellowing or somethin I might post a pic as many do for help. But I'm past the points of failure. Been there done that. As every thing in life goes from war to business. Each side believes they are the best or biggest and or in the right. Put platinum hortilux and california lightworks ceos in the same room. Do you think any of them would say on record thier competitors lights are better...nope. Like chevy dodge or ford. They'd never say thier trucks were worse than a competitors. Hard to find common ground on most things in life when a belief or purpose is set in ones mind. Though on the topic of yt peeps not being trust worthy. The same goes for a chatroom such as this online. We truly don't know who eachother are. You could work for an LED producer for all I know. But again to end on a good note in peace getting back on topic. As perhaps you are just here to help and give your views and or opinions on things. What in your opinion is the best LED? I will look into it. As atm I just grabbed a E680 to test out.

I am licensed im am a professional. I don't need to use the light I've taken one apart and it told me all I needed to know. My testing comes back quite well I never have issues getting rid of everything I have. One dispensary buys at least 15lbs of mine in one shot. Terps are generally 4-6%easy thc is high. Here's my home tester I used on my room I just took down. Granted it doesn't do terps but this gives me an idea of what I should get from the lab.

As far as best im testing hlg 650rs, next lights replacement for their mega, roi 720, efinity superstar 2, gavitas 1700e and 1930, and two more are about to go into testing for my next building.

Thank you. The shop I go to has the 680 and 720 always in stock. They also carry the new gavita LEDs. They do look badass. Blinding!
But watching vids online of par testing. The 680 and 720 seemed dang near about the same as did the hlg650red. Par test wise...why spend more money on something that's just as good as the lesser priced one. My theory. As stated earlier. In the LED biz its not like most things where you get what you pay for. So I've learned. As the platinums burn up in a year. Ten year lights my butt. Lol good thing they have a 5yr warranty.
Though the 680 and 720 from what they say are good for veg and flower. Where with the hlg's you need to buy a red or blue. The vid I seen on the hlg showed it wasn't built that great structurally. Looked kinda shotty.

The 650r's are well put together. In my testing area the 720 puts down more then the 680. This is according to my apogee and the quantum sensor on my trolmasters.

Cannabis pays my bills, feeds my family . Paid cash for a new ram trx and made it so I was able to pay cash for a 11k zero turn mower. In my world every little bit that gives me an edge is needed. Just like racing 10 hp doesn't seem like alot but it can mean winning or losing. Plus when the lights aren't free the 720s cost me 700 a piece.

If going commercial though it's well worth the time and money. I alway only grow as a hobby and to help others. I love construction to much. Working outside getting paid to workout n tan. Age don't catch up to me. Lol Plus somewhere new and something different all the time. Growing 24/7 would not be fun for me. To easy plus would get all fat sitting around trimming all day. I can't stand not working physically hard.
I do non-profit though for my patients that which all have health issues so they don't need to buy weed or take hardcore pills. They all get free weed.
Looked into going commercial once myself. To much of a headache in my book. Plus finding good workers these days is a dime a dozen. I like being able to handle most jobs myself. Less stress. Plus I'm not a fan of the workers you get in the weed biz. Like trimmers that only show up when they feel like it or ones who think $15 an hour isn't enough. While a real man is out roofing or pouring concrete for the same pay. While the trimmer sits on thier asses smoking and jamming to music all day. Its never enough money for an entitled person of this generation. More more more and then in time beg for more. Lol only way to please them is to give them everything you own and that still wouldn't be enough.
Another bad thing I see now a day are those doing nonprofit and buying new trucks and such with the extras. If a bad day the goverment could take everything they worked for. No proof of income. I see many doing this. Just asking for it. I even know many making good money off this nonprofit biz setup where since they have no real proof of income they all get food cards from hard working tax payers. Grosses me out. They are making more than most that don't grow that don't qualify for food cards cause they have proof of income. Another issue I find in the weed biz are there are many liars and or just straight up lazy losers. They do very little work and have crap bud yet want top dollar. Not many professions outside of politics or weathermen get paid so well to lie. Lol

Like showing off 28%thc but a big black ash when smoked lol. I test with my taste buds and body. Also remember a club once that was caught lying giving new members lower scores while giving old members those who paid more dews to the club higher numbers. To help the regulars move more. People caught on to this by testing there and other places with the same buds. Anyone can make up numbers. Not saying you did but why I don't trust test numbers. I trust taste ash and effect. One guy use to use a test paper claiming how good his stuff was once. Another guy bought some went and got it tested. Cause many people said his bud sucked. The test came back 8%thc lol the guy made up his own numbers.
Dispensaries on the other hand I have seen some with the worst buds. Even brown. Most of those places buy for profit not quality. If a good deal many don't care about numbers. As they also can just tag a jar with whatever numbers they want. Most of those places are just lazy scammers really. They want to make huge profit without doing any real labor themselves.

Sounds like they weren't using a standardized testing lab. Most places have to pull records from the state certificated labs to verify. Testing plays a big much needed role in wholesale cannabis. Guys like what you're describing don't last long. The black ash from improper drying procedures don't fly. Falsifying test numbersiis a sure fire way to lose your license. As for real man work I may not work outside in the sun much other than at home but the commercial cannabis is tedious. I have a trimmer and bucker I don't fuck with that. I am former military been shot at and bombed plenty. I was a network engineer for sometime after. Now I grow weed, run at minimum 4 miles a day and lift heavy. Your worry is getting fat lol do something to fix that if we're to get into growing. No grow is the same and it's always fun never a bore. Sounds like make excuses.

Also I turned my hobby into money while keeping it fun. Life is more fun if you enjoy what you do. Roofing im good on been there done that same with drywall and concrete. It's why I joined to get a higher education and not have to mess with all tha.i do my own home improvement that's it.

Lol no no. I love construction. Plus as said the hassle of going commercial isn't for me. Nor do I have such equity as needed to do so. Heard many bad outcomes of people trying to go commercial. Where the state denies them and keeps thousands of thier dollars. I also hate paper work! Lol
I like the simple life. I grow for fun and to help others but would never want to do it full time. Though it's good you try to stay fit brother. Though not many jobs other than yours gives as much freetime to do so. Like a guy in a cubical. He may make a bit more than I but at the end of the day he needs to get a tanning and gym membership. I got paid for it lol. I'd choose roofing over growing fulltime anyday. Money doesn't matter much to me. I am a wierd guy as hard labor is my cup of tea and money is not happiness. More money more problems. Could write a book on that topic. Lol 100degree day though all the 20yo guys cleaning the ground will be wore out laying under a tree another roofer puking off the roof. I laugh n keep on runnin. Then I go home and workout more. I really can't get fat. Was kidding as America is the land of fat. But I can get old and weak if I sit around all day.
I did road construction with guys who had huge college debts. I made the same as them. But staying in a different hotel room every week with a dude wasnt my cup of tea. Never been a fan of military myself. But have been for defending the innocent. Have been in many wild situations even fought two blood mean fighting pitbulls at the sametime. Not a scratch. Have saved a few womens lives from evil men. But in my experience most military dudes are just rude brainwashed fools. Not saying you but most. Have put down a couple at bars that were out of line and protected one in my day from a gang at a bar that was going to shoot him. But I knew them all so I stepped in. The dude thought he was made of steel. He was about to find out lead could still enter his skin. Lol If military wasn't a banksters game for blood n money I wouldn't be so against it. But it is. Plus would never join for they wouldn't give me bud to smoke. Lol like when younger Walmart wouldn't hire me cause I smoked. Yet I am the most honest loyal and hardest working man they could have hired. Thier loss. As are more smokers in the construction biz. Noticed over the years those who don't smoke seemed lazier. Some not all and some people were born so dumb they never should have started smoking. Lol had a guy on a concrete crew once. We wouldn't let him smoke at lunch. He'd be tits on a hog after lunch if he did. Draggin feet the rest the day and lost. Old boss of mine use to call us functional potheads lol

My closest best friend and one of the wisest men I know was ex military. Yet one of my patients is one of the dumbest rudest people I know is also ex military. So to set the line straight. Not judging you. As we're all different. But in my life experience thier are more of the latter.

UPDATE: MAYBE?....Platinum LED is done. Their website is gone, they don't answer emails, (not really a new thing), And kinda sad. I ran P600's for a long time and finally wanted to get the 1200's....Well, that seems to not be happening now. Back to the old drawing board to fing a decent, LARGE, high power blurple. Please don't rip on me for blurples, I have had hella success with every light I've used after a learning cuve. The Platinums made some of the frostiest plants I've ever raised as did my old Bloom Bosses and budmaster God's. Something about high intensity blurples bangs out trichs

The current lights big improvement and much more efficient. Cut out the old, get great flowers and save electricity. Platinum LED dinosaur now.
