Looking to add a new flower tent so need a light.

What light would you recommend, no budget constraints? I looked through the HLG store but nothing seemed in stock that would be a good fit.

Wanting to purchase something in the next day or so.

The Spider is a lot of light in a small tent. For me, that would be the light of choice.

I can't find a PPFD map for the Growers Choice so that takes it off the table.

Migro lights are, across the board, not high powered lights. All of his offerings use drivers that are lower wattage than other manufacturers. That allows him to market a light at a significantly lower price point but there's a reason for that - the lower powered driver means that there's less light. Is there enough light? Yes but there's a reason why the price tag is lower.

In this case, it's a 250 watt driver for $270. The spectrum is heavily weight at the blue end with a tiny bump at 660. Meh.

The Spider uses a 480 watt driver and it will generate a significantly higher amount of light than the Migro. There's more red in the spectrum, as well, which is a good way to deliver a lot of photons to the canopy. The price, with a coupon, is very competitive vs the Migro but light output is a lot higher. Add in the fact that they're a sponsor here (and that they have been for a while) makes it seem like a pretty good bet.
 
I'm running this light. It can controlled with an AC Infinity 69 Pro using the type A adapter.

Straight white light, not really what id opt for if i were going for a "no budget constraints" light. Efficiency is bound to be good as always with hlg. However from my own experience (i use the same spectrum on our control tray) the quality is a bit underwhelming in comparison to more optimized spectrums.
If youre after hlg id suggest going for 4x R-spec far red boards with heatsinks: it will give a more even spread, better quality bud and better results all around. It does involve some setup (wiring and making a frame from umsome alu angle) and getting a driver that match, but its not hard and hlg cust support are quite helpfull. They should also be able to help you find a good driver match. Meanwell HLG320-54A should work afaik but best to check with them.
 
I'm runna a FC3000 Evo in the same 3x3 space. It is manageable with excellent results, but it is a lot of light. I had a few casualties dialling it in to begin with. Would definitely recommend.

I’m running this light in my 2.3’x2.3’ and have been happy with it. Good to know it works good for you in a 3x3. I might just get another one and call it good.
 
One of the new bar lights. I have some smaller spider farmer lights and I like them, but would go with bigger if the electric bill isn't a concern.
 
I ended up using the mars hydro FC3000 evo I already had in my 2.3x2.3 tent in the new 3x3. So far it’s working great. I’ll be getting a veg specific light for the small tent and us it for moms.
 
Hello! For 3x3 LED.
Spider Farmer's G5000 and SE5000 are both closer to 3'X3' in size, with a coverage of 4'X4'. The SF7000 is a little smaller than the first two models, but has a coverage of 5'X5'. If you have a limited budget and are looking for high cost performance, I suggest you consider the G5000 and SE5000. If you want to achieve the highest production with more power, the SF7000 is an ideal choice.
