LED , Fluorescent and CFL 1st Time Grow

I realize as a newbie I should probably start with something tried and true like HPS or MH, but I had the materials so I though I would give it a shot. Here is the setup I'm running at the moment with 4x6500 daylight bulbs 4x 40Wcfl full spectrum and 4x LED Panel 630nm Red and 300nm Blue. I'm focusing on light wavelength more than pure watt or lumen.
Here are a few pics of the closet without a light filter on camera and with. Its damn bright in there. Pic 1 and 2 are normal Pic 3 has a light filter on the camera and Pic 4 is with a Double light filter.

Potting soil , clones, water, light and fan. Wish me luck with my 1st grow.

wow dude, that shit looks DOPE! I really like the set up! ALOT! I'm assuming you'll have the LED's and wahtnot facing down in due time. I wish I had those LED panels man, I WANT some! lol that shit's sick!

Well you've definitely got me interested! Consider me sub'd! Good luck bro!

What strains are you growin BTW? And how many plants?
And do you know your actual lumen output? Just out of curiosity...

I dig!

I'm going to leave the led panels on the sides of the plants maybe add a few more to the Ends still vertical though to get fat buds on the lower parts of the plant too, and put another 2 rows of 8 feet fluorescent lights above. I'm considering Netting at 2 feet and moving the L.E.D.'s up to that mark when I start budding. 5 x Blueberry and 5x AK47. ATM only about 18,000 lumen in this 8 foot by 1 1/2 foot closet. after i add the other fl and LEDs ill be pushing around 30k and all in the ideal spectrum. as opposed to HPS "which work GREAT" but pump out TONS of wasted spill over light that the plant cant absorb , Again they are so powerful still that they can put out enough of the red and blue plants need anyway . "Please dont flame for that comment" All I was implying is that hps put out un-needed and un-usable light along with the good stuff that makes the Lumen output so high, I would love to know how many lumen are at 630 red and 2-300 blue spec.

Ok so its been 3 days and I though all my plants were going to die. They all began to wilt and yellow after the transplant from humidity container to soil. Most of the original fan leaves that came with the plants have turned completely yellow and look horrid, but there are new green shoots coming out of all the plants. Did they survive transplant? Are the leaves that were cut by the guy I purchased the clones from falling off because of being clipped or because of something I did or didn't do? This is my first grow any feedback/help would be appreciated, I misted the top layer of soil for last 3 days, just gave 1st real watering this morning when i notices all that green. I read that over watering is a common mistake for beginners especially when using rockwool into soil. I'm using 3 month auto feed soil with moisture control. the moisture meter is at about 3-4 out of 10 constantly when i check, again I heard over watering is easy to do with beginners so tell me if I'm dehydrating my lil babys. Also its about 20% humidity here in the winter. Too low for clones?? I can get it up to about 4 if i mist the surface layer of soil every hour and keep 4 flat open containers of water on the ground under the plant rack.
Sorry for the poor pic quality i had to use my camera phone, my normal camera requires me to put light filters on because it doesnt have a built in dimmer. Should I just leave them alone and let the leaves die off and keep doing what I'm doing? Trim the dying leaves off? OH i noticed the leaves yellowing on day 1 after i gave all the clones root stimulator. So I haven't given any more.

Well, as of right now, there really isn't a WHOLE lot you can do!.. Kinda just keep doin what your doin. I don't think they're dehydrated or overwatered at all... I have a plant that is about 20X the size of those clones, and I only water it about every 2 weeks(ish)... The soil I'm using just retains moisture very well! I would steer clear of MG soil... Only because of the time release ferts. So that YOU can decide when to feed your plants, not the soil. I had MG potting mix, and pulled all the little fert "balls" out and it's working well. It's just those little balls of fert will fuck you sometimes!

Personally I wouldn't have even transplanted yet... Not untill they are somewhere around 8 inches tall, and have 5 or 6 nodes... They can thrive in very small containers for ALOT longer than you gave them! I use a styrafome cup, like 8 OZ's, and keep them in there for the better portion of a month...

I'd just say let the girls grow now! I'd bet they're gonna pull through. Just wait longer to transplant next time, and you should be good! :)

No prob bro! I'm hoping for the best, as long as the soil is moist 2 inches down ther are fine. I think they'll be good!
