Flat is the overwhelming consensus.Is everyone hanging lights from above on the flat or do you have fixtures hung on an angle? I have multiple fixtures in my room and I am considering having the outside lights slightly tilted towards the center of the room.

Agreed! Unless taking from the top if the top is already were it should be. If anything is currently dimmed horizontally then you have the extra power to spreading and angling. But I'm all with not maxing the top in photons and sharing some light with the sides. Nothing wrong w/ 4' of bag-meat all around the edges using about 120w per 2'x4', side lights. If you have the space. Big gains. They deff enjoy angled light as well. Gets in there as dude said. It's important not to over-light the top tho. When doing the sides. They can freak from to much light coming from every angle. Big gains tho, done right/carefully.
