the 350, but I am still on the fence, and I may save $ and do a custom Helios or something else altogether... I got a minute before I purchase

well here's the scoop on the Helios 'standard' and 'advanced' spectrums

standard spectrum ratio is 660nm:470nm:640nm:440nm:460nm:630nm = 6:2:2:2:1:7
the inner 460nm:630nm = 1:7 are CREE

advanced spectrum ratio is 660nm:470nm:640nm:440nm:740nm:460nm:630nm = 4:2:2:2:2:1:7
the inner 460nm:630nm = 1:7 are CREE

I'd also say 2 xml150, spectrum is good start to finish, there are two color select dimmable switches you can play with to tailor the spectrum for clone/veg/flower

Does anyone have any experience with the Kessil lights? I attempted to search the thread but only got one result... the first page that has the link to kessil. are they any good? to me it seems the look of too good to be true for being able to use them solely. they just seem so much like a spot light for added light, but i only have a 4'wx2'dx5't tent with a 400hps air cooled 4" system. I could upgrade and bla bla, but im already at the point that stealthy is no longer that... oddly during the summer its a piece a cake to run. I just use the house AC and dump a cold air vent into the top of the tent. i vent into a "heatsink" (basically im venting into a box, in a box. the air has to pass through chambers before its vented into the closet that the tent is in.) but now that we are running the AC less and less i have no cool air to grab and nowhere to put my heat (because it does build up some over the course of 12 hrs).
So i am searching for another solution. my limitations are basically the tent size and im looking for lighting that will allow me to run the 12/12 from seed style. so being able to tailor plants lighting with several spotlights might be beneficial in my case... or am i off on that?

thoughts?

Edit: im referring to the H350's btw.

I have 2, one of them is over an auto flower and I dont think the light does really well on its own. I have always used the other one for side lighting and I do think it helps a lot with my lower buds and over all trichs production but I would go with a full spectrum light for a main light source.

look at my journal in my signature, lots of plants grown under LEDs 12/12 from seeds

i've only been using my led for a few days but my new seedlings stopped stretching for my veg cfl's almost immediately. mines an af51 but lots of the module/panel Led just look better than the spotlight style ones at the moment, kessil seem too expensive for the coverage really, just good over one plant maybe? as far as going from 12/12 goes you could use whatever light you wanted i think, i guess you don't need to worry as much about blue if going from 12/12, why are though might i ask? your space sounds good for a nice scrog under 1 nice panel

10)Free Quality bracket.
You can choose to hang them or place them on the ground or fasten them on the wall directly. We have free brackets.

Going to be surfing through these LED threads see if anything new came up.

i just comped on a Raptor 120 to test the waters, so far its pretty badass, i'm either going to get an andvancedLED panel next or just a blackstar 240, I hear a lot of bullshit but I want to see for myself, shit if all else fails i got EXTREMELY expensive side lighting haha:bigjoint:

interesting never seen that one but there are 1000's different styles of Chinese LED made a day. Have no idea but it does look like the photo was photoshopped a little bit. Just something i noticed, its a little to clean for photos.

Has this been discussed here? i know its not on the front page so i figure either it is shitty, or just not discussed yet.

it seems like its in that "spotlight" category, but with the board like look... but their description of how to = a 1k HPS seems a bit absurd... 187 watts of draw to = a 1k... hrm? of course the more u buy the cheaper they are LMAO.

i've only been using my led for a few days but my new seedlings stopped stretching for my veg cfl's almost immediately. mines an af51 but lots of the module/panel Led just look better than the spotlight style ones at the moment, kessil seem too expensive for the coverage really, just good over one plant maybe? as far as going from 12/12 goes you could use whatever light you wanted i think, i guess you don't need to worry as much about blue if going from 12/12, why are though might i ask? your space sounds good for a nice scrog under 1 nice panel
So my intention was to use a minimum 3 kessil lights in my tent and i would have eventually added side lighting via some smaller more nm specific lights. so i would have had 1 light per 2 gallon flowering plant + some additional side lighting... but i have to consider every option. I am not a huge fan of Scrog just because at the moment i want a wide variety... if i were looking to "crop" a big one i would prolly choose SOG from clone just because if i want to move it i can... IMO SCrog is very limiting as far as my experience... but all of that is a topic for a different thread...

ive got about 800 +/_ that i will be willing to spend to switch... just cause in the long run i can see the benefit but my wife only sees the price tag today, not in a year.
