Just so you guys know, A51 just released an all White panel for the same $ as their 2:1 (W:R) panel... probably kicks some major tail in veg, if not start to finish.

I saw it tis morning too.
But he hasn't updated the specs yet. It was usposed to be with xt-e's and that is why I thought it was pulling more wattage. But maybe it is just up for pre-order and he will finalize soon. Haven't see EH around in a while.

If is good or not.. I'll see by myself.. I just want a little help here to figure it out how many true watts its consume.. Dont want a expensive electric bill

feel me ?
Power = Current x Volts

Your paperwork is only showing about 1.5 - 3 amp. So - can't be 1000w imo. But - I agree - you bought it already so enjoy it and test it and grow with it. Peace

Hey Everyone, new to site here =D
Need some advise please

My set up:-

Tents = three 4"X4" DR2
Lights = two pro grow 400 and one pro grow 400X
Pots = 15L airpots (soil 65% perlight 35%)
Nutrients = Canna Terra
with appropriate fans and Carbon filters.

I've been growing indoors for a year now using HPS (600W) with great success, however upon moving house electricity is an issue so I bought some LED's (pro grow 400) and am unhappy with the results. I purchased these as I was in a rush and the grow northern site was accessible from the place I was ordering from.

Anyway, shortly after having success with the VEG period I ordered the NEW (at the time) pro grow 400X. But upon entering the flowering period, with the PG400 I was hugely disappointed.

So I was hopping people could help me in a decision on LED's. I'm thinking of Grow northwern ms600 as Tang has had some great results and I am A DP auto grower mostly.

Many thanks, Daddy NooNz

Nah skip ms600 ................it's just a rebranded cidly apollo for way more $$$$

Is their a reason you must grow autos???? switching to photo's will increase your yield and thc/cbd/cbn levels of the final product.

why is electricity an issue when 3 progrow 400 will match the wattage of your 600w hps ?????? stay with the hps and have "great success"??

for quality gear look at CLW/apache tech/area51/hans/illumitex / etc.......................good luck

Does anyone has contacts of Hans (bonsaihero) ? I've paid for his panel at 17th of September and after that he stopped responding my emails. I'm a little bit worried about my order.

Was very interested in them, through Endives site, tried to contact them, never was ever to make contact, pissed me off, gave up on them. I went with the the CFL SS400, totally satisfied, will give final report after grow.

Well, if I say it wasn't, then you'll know that he's alive.. :O
Oh, shait. Spoilers everywhere..

By the way, Hans panel review by a total noob: Its AWESOME!
I thought so far that 150w of CFL were brighter then the sun (it may be the fact that there was no reflector and I kept looking into it eventhough I didnt want to)..
However, I got stunt by the hans straight light.. love how I could see things with changed color.. Yellow became green and so on.. uahuha
Never look straight into it guys.. :D
At least, I don't need the sunglasses anymore since the reflector is build in it. The light goes all down.
Last thing, temps decreased nicely 28ºC to 25ºC (150w CFl to 65w Hans)

Poking around Amazon and stumbled on this, (click to embiggen):

http://www.amazon.com/Aviditi-MG11560-High-Intensity-Light/dp/B004U6WEKO/ref=sr_1_68?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1380849938&sr=1-68&keywords=LED+grow+light

Which then "led" me to this:

This LED light consists of 88 light – emitting diodes that are red and blue because those are the two colors the plants can use in photosynthesis the most efficiently. The red diodes have the wavelength of 640 to 690 nanometers but the blue ones range from 420 to 470 nanometers in wavelengths. Because both these colors are featured in this light it can be used on plants that are growing or already budding. And this light spectrum is also good as supplemental light from small grow operations in your home to big greenhouses and even farms. Basically you can use this lamp in any indoors environment.

The wattage of this LED lamp is 70 watts so that won’t make a big spike in your electricity bill and you won’t need to worry about how to cover the expenses. And for these 70 watts you will get 4200 lumen bright light. That is an unbelievably powerful light that along with the color spectrum of the light makes an amazing addition to your garden.
Thanks to the fact that this LED light is an aluminum pressure casting lamp, it is extra good at controlling the heat. As we all know from physics lessons, the hot air rises and the cool one stays at the bottom of the room so keeping this principle in mind the light disperses the heat so distributing it all around the room and letting it cool off that much faster. So you have the guarantee that this light really won’t make your grow room much hotter even if it is really small.

Modern and sleek design of this light is extended by the high oxidation treatment of its surface making sure that it serves you well. And the dimensions of this light are 24 inches to 6 inches to only 1 inch in height (60.96 cm x 15.24 cm x 2.54 cm). And the weight is also pretty good – only 10.4 pounds (4.71 kg).
[h=2]Advantages[/h]
  • lamps life – 30,000 hour and more
  • outputs 4200 lumen bright light
  • consumes only 70 watts of electricity
  • has a very high PAR efficiency
  • color spectrum good for all stages of plants growth
  • good heat management
  • great size

  • modern and sleek design
  • coated so that the exterior looks new even after years of use
[h=2]Disadvantages[/h]
  • is recommended to use indoors

The combination of its newage design, efficiency, low electricity consumption and amazing color spectrum makes this an amazing grow light option from those who just starting in growing field to experienced growers of any kind.

Opinions? Personally I like the design but I can't get any good info on the company atm but they seem to have a hand in everything, though with a business/scientific/industrial bent. Looks cool but probably not worth the $380 and change, stilll ya never know.
