Sorry if I came off like a &%ck. I have been looking alot lately. So when you quoted that price I knew exactly what you looked at.. The fc-e8000 has bridgelux diodes, and the fc-8000 has samsung diodes. Both lights put out great spectrum and spread.

Look for listed origins of diodes, name brand. The driver also should be a known high quality unit. Samsung and Meanwell are reassuring. Off brand diodes, usually unbranded will not be the same efficiency as quality diodes. Be certain of this and avoid “Buyers Remorse”.

Hey guys, considering a few different lights to cover a 4 x 4. Any input on this Bontanny light on Amazon?

Would this 640 watt light perform better than the similarly priced 480 watt Bava Green or the slightly more expensive 480 watt Hyphotonflux ??

Thanks in advance!
Yes, that will probably outperform lights at twice its price do to n/ir. It's real cheep so I'd just check the par when it arrives, write it on tape & sticking to the light. Check every 3 or 4 grows. If decayed then return. Samsung diodes mean shit really. They won't do any better of a job as they are just another white, human, defficient, over-abundant spectrum. They have high output but that's even old news with most led manufacturers competing and being much more readily available. Cree cob this Samsung plastic diode that, osram mono. Any manufacturer that has a slightly lower Efficacy can simply add more diodes easier for less to achieve just as high if not a higher system Efficiency. They almost all source their components from the same Mega-Manufacturer anyways. The owner company of Luminous. Oops, Brain fart. Thats why Alibaba used to (may still) provide diode classification options. Every 3-6 months these speacialty, HE or high cri diodes are reversed Engeneired, usually being improved on. as good for half the price from another manufacturer. Not a fan of cheep lights but for the price, it will prob outperform Fluence + Gavita. Thise Osram Sq, Gen:4's are something tho.

Newbie here. Trying to upgrade my lights.
Bestva Bp2000
I just bought 2 of these for a 3x3 grow closet(they where $117 out the door). After I got them I noticed it only has 4000k and 660nm diodes. Will I need to supplement with a blurple?? Or would I be better to return and get these?Leesanran 2000w
I have one of these I'm not using: Blurple light Would it work to supplement the Bestva's?

I'm thinking of going the lumatek for a 5x5 tent.

I don't have many options where I am located, just wanted to check if it is actually any good or am I going to regret making the purchase?

Thanks

Lumatek is a top notch company...
Shane was not very happy when he actuallytested the Zeus Pro.

I'm more a fan of modular setups for various reasons, but if you have no issues adjusting the fixture, there's no argument against buying it.
Btw for our NA friends they are selling in the States too, they just use another brand name it's "Photontek".
