I'm looking for suggestions for an ultra low profile led light to be used for rooting clones. The HLG65 is ultra low profile but the 18 inch hanging height completely defeats the purpose and is way more wattage than I need. I've built a few LED cob lights in the past, so I'm not completely foreign to this, but the tech moves so fast it's hard to keep up. Can anyone suggest a board or strip for lighting an 18x24 cabinet at very close range. DIY or prebuilt I'm open to any suggestions in hope's of avoiding t5's. Thanks and happy growing

If a single 65 board is enough of footprint, that's a perfect light for clones. 4000K.

Ya basically anything works for clones. Anything but incandescent and who knows, maybe eve that would work.
But you mentuoned your interest in the HLG65 which is a great DIMMABLE light and would serve your purpose just fine. The dimming is a big advantage.

No, the driver does not have dimming! "Non-Dimmable Meanwell Power Supply included with NEMA 1-15p plug"
