You will soon see the flaw in using that stealth hydrosystem. Nothing wrong with it IF you were using it for clones, or for a starter system. It's just too small for growing more than one full size plant

I recommend you read my thread for lots of ideas, and to foresee issues

Malevolance!!! The bucket of ice idea is BY FAR the best idea I've heard to date, simply because it's cheap, easy, and probably works! Thank you soooo much!!! One question though, do you put the fan blowing on the ice? How long will a full bucket last? The one problem that it entails is high humidity, which is already around since plants give off a lot of moisture after reaching a certain size, do you have any suggestions on how to cheaply combat the humidity?

Thanks again!
haha... I was kinda joking, but I would put the fan blowing directly across the bucket. Probably only last for a few hours though.

gratz on getting out of jail again.

I actually went out today and picked up a 40 lb bag of water softener pellets, which are the same thing as rocksalt, or the salt you use for snow in your driveway, nevertheless, it's all salt. I read online that it absorbs moisture in the air pretty well, so we'll see how it works out.

I'll keep ya posted.

That seems like a very good idea. Do you know what to do with it once you are done with it? That much salt ill severely affect dumping it.

You could spread it out on trays, heat it and reuse, or take it to the ocean and dump

Why not get a dehumidifier?
