I don't think you can go wrong with any of these units that run the Elite Agro 315's. Ballast efficiency and reflectors can certainly make a difference but idk that it would be any more than +- 5%. Any of them will easily pull 1/gpw+ imo if you're looking for weight and give you top-shelf/quality bud to boot. Pic below is a week old, 3x3.5' footprint, 9x 2gal in a pheno hunt which I would have been happy to average 1 oz. per plant. I'm about to start pulling some tomorrow and the smallest plant will yield 1 oz dry., more likely average 1.3 - 1.5 oz. which will bring the run to 1gpw+ in a pheno hunt with a 1 1/2 year old bulb. No worries, 4x 315 = 1260g or 2.8 lbs per run with any decent producing strain, 1.2-.1.5 gpw is relatively easy with a producer
Yeah, not enough difference to worry about imo, environment and grow methods will play a bigger part when there's such a small gain one way or another with different ballasts driving them.I spent hours last night reading all the different forum threads. Everyone is concerned with saving 50 cents or maximizing on that +-5% it seems. Now I think back and say why did I continue. You are absolutely right grow err about the lights from what I have read, they do seem to be a great advancement in lighting and your plants are proof of this. They look great, but don't really look ready to harvest
Ummm you sure about that? Can you get the specs on such a beast. Honestly I've never seen one that will convert a standard 120 circuit to a standard 240.just get a AC to AC step up transformer. probably around $100 to 125. problem solved
Don't know that you'd ever have to step up as any ballasts I've seen that run the 315's support 220/240v. The Sun Systems 120v rig does it in reverse. It's a 240v ballast, the step down converter allows it to operate at 120v (it's about a 50w overhead hit). Both the 240v ballast and step down converter are included in the 120v Sun Systems package. So if you only have 120v available and bought a rig with 240v-only ballast, the step down converter is an option, with a cost of ~50w overhead.Ummm you sure about that? Yes easy to go from 240 to 120, not so easy to go from 120 to 240 as far as I know. Read the specs on the step up and pretty sure its for a different setup and not household voltage and phase.Don't know that you'd ever have to step up as any ballasts I've seen that run the 315's support 220/240v. hey budley, missed this post. here ya go: this isn't a top notch one but you get the point.Ummm you sure about that? Can you get the specs on such a beast. Honestly I've never seen one that will convert a standard 120 circuit to a standard 240.
Well I'll be fucked who ever heard of such a magical box of wonderment lol. I do apologize for my ignorance . I'll have to look into this more.....I'm intrigued .hey budley, missed this post. here ya go: this isn't a top notch one but you get the point.

yep. i had a issue with not enough 240v. was gonna buy the kit anyway and pay $90 for a good xformer and do it that way. ended up having 2 amps to spare for it on 240v.Well I'll be fucked who ever heard of such a magical box of wonderment lol. they definitely work.I'm baaaack!! No totals yet one plant down.
