Do not apply in the heat of the day, early morning or evening it the preferred time. You might try rinsing you plants with plain water to see it this helps correct.

Any watering of plant tissues during direct sunlight will severely damage the plant, insecticides, water, foliarfeeding, it will all burn and singe your plants' leaves if they're in direct heat (there are exceptions of course, but that's always happened to me) If you're going to use insecticidal soap, i'd go for a straight up DAWN and water approach and do it when the sun is going down and not directly on the plant. You have to be careful, because even on my Bell Pepper and Tomatoe plants i've had leaf curling and burning when the soap/water combo was left on too long and the light got to it. and i use about 3-5 drops of Dawn soap to a gallon of water. goodluck!

Iv done this even in the dark let the sit for 4 hours, thinkin they would dry. They did, but they dried with soap and my t5 lights burnt my leaves. So make sure u rinse or something with straight water to get the soap off.
