leaves sticking straight up

i have a seedling whos leaves are sticking straight up. it was normal last night but now they are straight up. My mother thinks that it might be wilting, but dont they usually drop when they wilt? I could use some help or info please.

Mine have done this when they get too cold. They point straight toward the light. What are your temps and general specs of your grow?

right now i am using cfl's i dont remember the watts they are about 2 inchs from the top of the plant. it is farely cold here and i know the cfls dont give off much heat so if i were to warm it up in there would it help?

Yeah try to bring temps around 75-85

Just as a side note: Low levels of humidity are sometimes to blame for leaves standing straight up.

on a similar note, i am experiencing leaves that tend to have rolled edges(?) and some of the larger ones are drooping. is this a result of too much watering maybe? im at a week and a half btw

Do they curl up or curl under? And is it the sertated part of the leaf or the tip?

the tips are curling under the most, then also on same plant edges slightly curl under.. its only happening to one or two of my plants. help! (wish i could post pics...) gotta get my camera back

i have been using a spray bottle for the first week just keeping the top layer of soil wet, then it broke the other day and I had to pour water into the cups.. i can't help but think it's probably a watering issue

Sounds like overwatering. Make sure the temps are in good range and let the soil dry out a bit. Are you using any nutrients?

no nutes yet... its been a week and a half since sprouting in soil... when would you recommend a nute supplement? any tips on nutes? or a link to some tips?? thanks!

I have very little experience with soil. I grow mostly hydro. But I would wait another week or so, depending on what's in your soil. And start with 1/4 strength solution. As for a nutrient suggestion, I would consult someone who is better versed in soil. FoxFarm is the only nute I've ever really used in soil.

You won't need nutes for at least another week or two at the earliest. I wouldn't give them food til they are about 3 weeks old or working on their fifth nodes. Just my opinion.
