Hey guys, I have run into an issue. My room got up to 90F the other day and i have now fixed it so its back to about 74. My plants started drooping, and have since in the last couple days gotten much much worse. I'm running an Aero / NFT in pipes system, ph 5.8, ppm 600. My plants are about 8 inches tall and have lots of growth. water temp is 70f and my 100W HPS lights are about 24 inches from the plant tops. I spray 30 sec every 3 min, but have just bumped it up to 45 sec every 2 min. some of my plants are very droopy. Any help as to what I might be dealing with would be a huge help. Thanks.

You might need more Phosphorus for the crispy leaf parts but the drooping is probably separate and likely a watering issue.

i have calibrated my meter, but perhaps it's time to take another look at it. a lack of phosphorus will make leaves crunchy? would the nute burn cause the light and dark green spotting on the leaves. Cheers.

No, that's not nute burn. It can be hard to tell with those really dark leaves when the plant starts to get a little short on Nitrogen, so there's a chance it needs more N. Phosphorus def causes patches of crispyness, often in seemingly random spots on the leaf during veg and is usually focused on the leaf tips when it occurs during flowering (& some other times). Dry leaf parts curl in squiggly ways but usually in a mostly upward direction.

ph is out which means your meter is dodgy.

thanks guys, i'll flush and i got a new meter yesterday so we'll see how it works out. The big difference between mine and the pics is i dont have that brown dry look, they are still green and spotty, just some of the leaves are super dry. ill take a couple more pics today of the actual plants to give you a better idea of whats up. Thanks for the suggestions so far.

hey guys, been a couple days, I did a 24 hour fresh water flush, now I have my ppm at 300, ph 5.8, water temp 65-70 room temp 70, still looking very droopy. I was a 30 sec on 3 min off water, now I have lowered it to 45 sec on 8 min off. I'm not sure if I havea watering problem of if they just need to to recover from their blight. What do you guys think. Cheers.

yeah they dont look awesome do they. I'm hoping at least a couple will pull through. enough to clone from and run a second batch. it's crazy how quickly they went downhill. beautifull one day, almost dead the next.
