Leaves show burn spots??! Help please. PICTURES

My 400w hps light is 16 inches above my 2 super silver haze plants that are 5 weeks old. They are veggin under the hps and they stand about 10 inches high. I looked at my leaves and they show small brown spots that i think are related to light burn but i dont know!

It is very hard to grow indoors without knowing the ph of your water as tap water never seems to stay the same. litnus strips/drop tester or electronic tester of ebay cheap or at hydro or pool equipment store would be your best bet... Good luck:weed:

A 400 watt is not that hot.
I would do the hand test.
Put your the top of your hand (Not your palm) under the light.
The top of your hand is more sensitive to heat than your palm. (Just in case if you wondering)
Keep moving it lower and lower until you don't feel your hand cooking.
When you find that out, thats where the tops of your leaves should be.

CHT, I would have taken Bongjuice's advice about checking your PH and reading the link that he took the time to hook you up with, but you probably decided to take that third bong hit instead and passed out on the floor! lol
