Whenever you search for ideas of why leaves point up, you get many answers depending on the situation. So I thought I'd try to get input into my own. The newest growth on my vegging plant is pointing straight up.
Strain: Female Seeds Neville's Haze
Lighting: 2 - 55w PLL (9600 lumens) at 6" from plant top (2-3" now because leaves are pointing up).
Soil: Modified "Mel's Mix" (1/3 peat moss, 1/3 compost from several sources, 1/6 perlite, 1/6 course vermiculite) with lime and 1 tbsp/gallon soil of Jobes Organics (4-4-4).
Temps: 79F
Rh: 45%
I have not watered this plant in a week but the soil is still moist about 3" down. It was transplanted a week ago from a solo cup to a 3 gal. fabric pot. From time to time when I check it, the newest growth is pointing up or laying flat. Everything seems to be fine, color is good.
Any ideas?

(No it is not deformed, I just happened to catch a pic when the oscillating fan was blowing on it.)
