leaves on buds

Hey all I have a curious problem, I have a blue lemon thai about 3 to 4 weeks from harvest, it has always covered her buds with fine leaves hanging straight down along the bud (very healthy plant) I have been told that they should be removed because the colas needs light. The leaves seem so natural the way they hang on the bud.
I’m not sure I agree about the removal of said leaves. Anyone ever have such a plant or problem?

thats not a problem, different buds and plants grow and look diferent my kaiju line grows similarly to your explanation. dont cut the leaves off they are the place where photosynthesis not only happens but excess sugars from the process are stored in them so your hurting your yield doing that. anything green on the plant could use light and can photosynthesize it

Your plant knows what it is doing. She put those leaves the for a reason, photosynthesis! Plants in the wild aren't used to being fed nutrients and energy in this case sugar,They keep theirs in their leaves.
