ayone seen this, i watched it the other day and thought it was pretty good, not the best ending but i suppose it was appropriate, i just thought it was cool to have a movie about the grower as opposed to a silly stoner filck like Pineapple Express or Half Baked:leaf::leaf:

Edward Norton plays a professor from i think harvard who goes back 2 alabama b/c he thinks his brother (also Edward Norton) who is a grower has been killed only to find out his death was faked...pretty good cast as well Susan Sorandon for one

i think the spiral htdro thing he was usin was pretty sweet, if i had the room i would def try somethin similar and i loved the way he said
how like " leds are all the rage but im a sodium vapor man myself" (spoken with a southern twang

I liked it for the fact that it wasnt the stereotypical "stoner movie" like most of the pot movies that have been coming out lately.... but I love a good stoner flick :)

its in the net flix list looks pretty good
it's alot different from what you would expect.... it's one of the more progressive movie with marijuana largely in the plot, yet its not a "stoner flick".... I like seeing movies like this, where weed is in there, but not the main point.

Watched it, it was a pretty good movie. I thought the growing part of the movie would be more of a background thing. I was happy he actually talked about his set up and knew (pretty much) what he was doing.

not really background, it seemed that one of the focal points of the movie was him realizing that his brother was a legitimate success in his field even though he was a "criminal"
