Leaves Fading Signalling Harvest Soon?

Yep. I have a number of hand-pump sprayers in 1g and 2g sizes. The 'wand' can be flipped upside down to get the undersides of the plants as well at the top.

So you're feeding give or take 3g or 3.5g? I'd bump that up a bit. Work with the 650-750PPM (1.3-1.5EC range). If you get tip burn back off a little. I know that some feed up in the range of 5-7g per gallon successfully, but there's also a few here who are doing 3g. That plant looks hungry.
Just fed at 730/5.8ph Let’s see what happens.

You’re either using too little water or you’re keeping the root zone too wet by watering HP every 2 days. Are you watering by weight?
Thx for reading
Yeah I go by weight. When it’s dry it’s really dry and light, then I saturate completely but with no runoff. Every two days now. Prior to this, they would be similarly dry and I would only give them about a litre each daily at night. The grow bags are 5 gallon. As soon as I saw the yellowing I started to saturate and do the every 2 day thing.

It’s getting 40-50f overnight.

Nitrogen deficiency is what I think, I gave up long ago using different nutes for veg and flower, then gave up hydro and do living soil, I prefer the plant to have a buffet to chose from rather than feeding it meals containing what I think is best for it, let the relationship between the plant and microbes flourish and they look after themselves.

for ipm check out buildasoil he’s got some good recipes, I alternate a few diff ones that I have in rotation and will often add neem oil if I think it’s needed, dr bronners peppermint soap seems to do agood job of keeping pests away but I probs wouldn’t use it this late on.

hope this helps and well done, gelato has the nicest terpene and flavonoid profile I’m yet to experience, my fave is gelato 41 but have had other good hybrids too

Yeah, HP for me is every 4 or so days. But once I'm past the first couple weeks of veg, I'm watering to 20% or more runoff.
Wow.
Well, I saw them get huge with lighter feeding and figured I was being rewarded for showing amazing watering restraint. Then mid-flower I hit this wall. I was coasting “weed is so fkn easy to grow!” Then thrips, then this yellowing. More humbled now.

(One thing I would say though, is that when they say a strain is “intermediate” in difficulty to grow, it’s for good reason.

Thanks.
Yeah, I have one tiny Northern Lights planted in the ground. Hardy little guy. It’s right in there with my tomato’s and kitchen scrap compost from the bin. Will only get 7-8 grams off it but it’ll be organic. It did well and gave me an idea of what it’s like to grow in soil at least.

Looking forward to this Gelato. Yea I’ve heard it has quite the terp profile. Let’s hope it pulls through! Difficult to grow though. Picky eater and not as pest resistant (at least the pheno I got, and the environment I’m in).

Next year I will try the bio controls again except apply very early on to get their numbers up.

For me the 'hard part' is somewhere between week 3 and week 5 of flower. Veg is sort of like coasting, transition goes well then the weirdness starts showing up once the stretch is done and they're settling into flower building. That's why I always laugh when a relatively new poster comes in and talks about how easy it is and shows their tent looking great in veg.

I don't poke at the 'no runoff' thing because there's guys who can do that and do it well, but it's never worked for me. My best strategy has always been alternating feeds/waterings and expressing a good amount out of the bottom of the bags. For me, when I plant is pretty full sized that means 2 gallons of water or feed per 5 gallon bag, giving me about a liter and a half of runoff.

I’ve seen many people type this, but have never seen a full documented log showing it.
I know it doesn't work for me. ;) and yeah, its mostly hearsay from people boasting that they do it, so always worth taking with a grain of salt. I figured anyone who can do this successfully is just way better at growing than I'll ever be.

I had a hell of a time trying to make it work with PromixHP with Blumat Tropfs and was mostly happy that my plants were in really good shape before I moved to the dripper system because once I did move it was more a case of me doing my best to eek my plants across the finish line. Pushing the 'old' chemistry out the bottom of the medium regularly works best for me.

I've had great results using blumats with coco. The trick is to use a really low EC nutrient solution.

I would guess that part of my issue was moving from a standard hand-water to runoff strategy to the Blumats mid-grow, right around flip-time. I'd certainly try again from scratch. When I made the move I dropped my feed to 50% of what I'd been doing but also ended up with some deficiencies that were pretty standard calcium then magnesium stuff that was hard to sort because of my well water that was @ .4 to .6ec to start. I've since moved to using either filtered water (0EC) or my humidifier condensate (also 0EC).

5 gallon bag should be able to take 1 to 1-1/2 gallons if you are waiting until they’re dry enough to water. How much are you giving every 2 days? What’s the temperature there?

That seems unreal to me considering how repetitive the internet is “The most common mistake is overwatering.” The main reason I don’t do runoff is laziness. I have a 2 gallon can. Who wants to mix 4 cans when 2 have been working fine? Every Saturday I used to do straight water for salt build up. Maybe I’ll go back to that.

Thats absolutely saturated. Then again we are just getting off 2mo of 90f. Now it’s 75f avg. I can try watering more but also keep in mind it’s not as hot anymore (I go by weight of pots anyWay.) You may be into something in my watering routine.

I use 1 gallon containers for my water/feed. I keep 12 of them filled and on hand, so mixing up 2 per plant when needed isn't that awful (but I'm in general not doing more than 4 plants, and with sativas I'm doing only 2 at a time).

I think if you're concerned about how much you're using, you could do your feeds the way you're doing them but do your watering to a good amount of runoff to remove any old nutrients from the soil. If you don't do any to runoff, you're never really removing anything and you may find yourself in a lockout situation.

Outdoors here, 3 plants, and yesterday we had a record high of 116. Plants didn't show any signs of stress, but our summers are usually in the upper 90's/low 100 range so they are used to it.

Each plant is in a 10 gallon pot of Ocean Forest. I have a 2 gallon watering can, so I fill it up 3 times, each time using 1/3 of the can per plant so the water has time to soak into the soil before my next pass. So 2 gallons of water in 10 gallons of soil seems right for me, I do get runoff out of the bottom at that point. Every other day I do this, occasionally every day if it's needed.

Not a major pain in the ass, but feeding is a bit, have to mix in nutes and PH each 2 gallon fill, so takes a little more time
