Do what ever works for ya, it sounds like a nice setup. My hydro systems are ph controlled, auto fill and all drain at the turn of 2 valves. After I drain I come back the next day and add my nutrients.

The guys I was copying with this coco grow started with 10s, then 15s and is now at 20s and have every time increased his overall yeild by going with bigger pots . He was in the 10 pound range off 4,000w of de lights he now sees 12.5 pounds off the same lights using 20gallon potsyou would be way better off in 2-3 gallon pots....you can hit an elbow in a 3 gallon....to use coco to it's potential, small pots n multiple feedings per day. push them bitches! or u can treat it like soil n get so-so results.
lolThat's about how mine look right now except for the nice buds lol.
Cheap pump, cheap drip rings, a little tubing + few splitters and a digi timer.Yeah i went away for 4 days and came home to this View attachment 3804175

I don't want to think about cleaning the roots out of 20 gallons of coco lol. I would outsource that sht! I reuse my coco. The guys I was copying with this coco grow started with 10s, then 15s and is now at 20s and have every time increased his overall yeild by going with bigger pots . I didn't plan on reusing the coco. I was gonna toss it in the back 40 and replace with new. The botanicare blocks did about 20-22gallon worth of pots, i think I used 9 blocks to do 14 pots. The blocks ran $11 a piece if I recall corrrctlyI don't want to think about cleaning the roots out of 20 gallons of coco lol. I would outsource that sht! I reuse my coco.

For coco @ drip rings nope, I don't chill anything any more!If i had to hand water even once a day I would pull my hair out. If I went through setting up drip rings and reservoir I would just build another rdwc to replace the coco. Do You still have to chill your reservoir for your drip rings Bubblin?
That must be niceFor coco @ drip rings nope, I don't chill anything any more!
The pump/s only runs for a minute or two every few hours, so there's really no additional heat being added to the water. I also toss an air stone in the res but it's mostly to keep things mixed, but the aeration is nice too
I figured you must have a large chiller setup, that's a lot o water and pump power. It's a sweeet setup m8.That must be nice
Lol. I run 3.5 ton water chiller to do my dirty work. That cools my veg room, flower room and keeps my reservoirs at 65-68 degrees, veg room at 76 degrees and flower room at 80-81 degrees, I also cool my 8 burner generator and aprilair 1850 dehumidifier with it.
