hey, these girls are in coco under a 600 HPS. i planted them (from clones) about 7 days ago. and as you can see the leaves are curling up and they feel really light and just don't seem to have much substance to them.
Any ideas?

they look hot.... how far away is that light... i've heard of people cooking clones with to much light.... maybe raise it up alittle of a couple of weeks and add a fan.... if u dont hav one all ready....

i'm not sure whats going on with that leaf in pic 2 maybe over fert.

the light is like 3-4 feet away and i have a fan oscillating that blows right on them.. guess ill just make sure my light stays a fair distance away and just wait it out. thanks

You might want to get something to read temps asap.Do you have an air cool hood???I know those 600s can put off a nice amount of heat.Leafs curl upward to try to cool themselves.By the look of both those pics it looks like heats stress.

Look very crispy.. I second that, u need to get a temperature guage, so u can monitor n fix accordingly.

found out my brother has a digital thermometer for his aqaurium... borrowed it and left it with my plants for the last hour or 2. the temps at the top of the plants is about 20-21 degrees Celcius (68-70F). that's well within optimal range isn't it?

ph is 5.9, nutes are 700ppm - it's hydroponic in coco btw if i havent mentioned. but yeah temp. seems ok but i do agree with them looking crispy though..

cuttings/seedling - 0-350 ppm max
veg - 350-800ppm
flowering - 800-1200ppm
something like that.... ur over fert. them....

he said it only 70...... so it cant be the temp.... the only things i can think of is the ppm is to high for what stage the plant is at, or there just to much light for the clone right now....
