Leaves clawing, but are otherwise heathy?

your problem is simply this. When you water you only water just enough. WHen you water you have to make sure that 1/4 of the amount of water you put in is runoff. This is to ensure that built up salts in the soil from nutes flush out of the pot every time you water. You also may have rootbound plants. When they dry out a bit pull the rootball out of the pot and inspect the roots. If they are wrapping around the sides and built up at the bottom you need to transplant. Even if it is in flower a transplant does less harm than a rootbound plant. Your salt buildup in your soil has led to nitrogen toxicity on the upper half of your plant and a deficiency in the lower part of your plant which will eventually lead to total nutrient lockout if you don't address the issue. The clawed leaves will never recover, they will stay clawed until they drop off or until you harvest. Do not add N at this point. If you find that you have to repot then before you do that flush with twice the amount of water as the size of the pot with 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide added per gallon, transplant and leave it alone until the soil dries up. Then make sure you water and have plenty of runoff coming out of the bottom of the pot and make sure you feed with bloom and micro nutes only. This will ensure lower salt levels in your soil. This has happened to me on my first few grows. Salt buildup in soil during flower is probably the most common problem there is with MJ growing, novice or expert. I hope I have given you a "real" solution to your problem.

I've read through the thread and haven't seen any temps. It looks more like a root problem than a nitro problem. It probably does have to do with you're watering techniques and you do have salt buildup. etc

regardless of what you have given them or how much you have given it is too much for this particular plant...that is over fert..some plants are sensitive and get really curly...

WOW!! I havent seen one mention of humidity...The lower the grow room humidity, the less DIRECT airflow on the plants can be.. This looks like a classic sign of low humidity and too much airflow.. NOT saying that it cant be one or the others listed,..But I just learned a valuable lesson in this field, and Im a veteran perfectionist grower..Leaves are "sweating" too much, transpiring, perspiring or whatever they call it. In other words..moisture is evaporating to fast out of the leaves...

i had the same issue...they will not get better...will not. but they will live all the way through flower...shoot them again with the 0-10-10 and give them some h2o2 and you will be fine...your roots arent getting enough oxygen...if you dont believe me go look at my grow journal in my signature ....you have to let your soil dry out. :blsmoke:
I filled my reservoir all the way up because it seem at the time that more water is better that's when they started to growing when I added more water so waited a week did a res change and filled it up all the way much as it could take now there looking really bad what should I do?

So if I have a 2x2 grow box and put 1 23 watt cfl in it, will my plants grow faster if I was to add another? and if so don't that mean that the lumens ADDED up?

all i was simply stating is that it would be more efficient to run a couple 65 watt cfls with added reflectors. electricity is electricity no matter what kind of light anyone thinks is best 400w of cfl or 400w of hid is still 400 watt however not every bulb is rated the same in lumen output. it would be more efficient and wiser to run bulbs that give you the most lumens per watt output.

And like one guy said the light would be most intense where they overlap so if you concentrated all of the lights output into one spot and focused that light on the plant ppl would get a slightly better yeild. to the guy who toots hid. that = more heat and you might not get more lumens to watts with hid there are other types of light sources out there now adays that out do.

Look at lighting sites hundreds of cfl/leds on there . anyone can buy an hid lamp but if your not directing the light properly your wasting money and getting less bud too

you dont need nitrogen bro. its not that the new growth on the tops seem fine, just keep what your doing up. you cant fix the old leaves but with my own experience if the new growth is fine thing keep on that trac.

as regards to humidty if that was the problem then the curl would be upwards and its not. It would be upwards because thats when the leaves are losing water faster than the roots can supply the plant.
