Leaves Burning Then Dying

Grown under CFL's, half strength hydro nutes every 2 weeks, older leaves burning at the tip and then dying. Any suggestions why?

Looks like nute burn to me but its weird that its only on a couple leaves. Id say flush it then check your nutes aswell as how close your lights are.

Did the leaves touch a bulb? Ive had leaves do the same thing when they brushed against a cfl i use for side lighting. Just a guess. Like be ez said, its weird its just a a leaf or two. Good luck on your grow

lights are only 23w each and they are 2 inches away. it started happening a month ago before I gave the plant any nutes at all. in total 8 leaves have died and fallen off, none of them have ever touched a bulb.

Magnesium/Potassium problems. Probably the result of too low a pH in your media or by an abundance of calcium in your tap water. High humidity can contribute to calcium toxicity as well.

Switch to filtered water, flush the media with 6.5 pH solution. You don't need to add more Magnesium or Potassium, just dial in the pH and cut down on the Calcium sources.
