leaves are curling at tips

for some reason all of my tips are curling downward, do you guys normally have these issues?

about a week ago we flushed the 5 gal buckets with 10 gallons of water each, and they were dry yesterday so we watered today. but before watering, we noticed the yellowing problem we had was gone...

but the tips are still curling, even after using straight water for one week, then 3 days later, then letting the soil dry for a week, then watered with nutes.

could have been several things, were your plant leaves hooking? or claw like?

if you have a very sativa dominant plant, they are often sensitive to nitrogen, if you give them too much you can get the claw effect, just ease back on the nitrogen a bit

it can also be several other things,such as high heat not aloowing the water to fully feed the leaves, and as a survival measure your plant is curling to conserve water and nutes

pH can also cause the claw, this usually is associated with a heat problem also, a pH too acidic or basic will significantly decrease your plants ability to draw water up its roots...that coupled with high heat can stress your plant into clawing

so, try to keeps temps low or ph your water before waterings...

REMEMBER: no matter what leaves that are significantly hooked are going to stay hooked, even after the problem is cured, look to the new growth for problems...in marijuana plants the leaves affected by a problem usually dont revert back to healthy, but they will generally be ok

-yea hooking pretty much. i know the temperature has been average of 40-96
(8 days ago)
-we started putting the blower on 24/7 and temps averaged 32-76.
as of yesterday we kept the blower off all night and today we set it on a timer.
im hoping the issue was the temperature, so we added a heater that will come on when we think it gets coldest(set on timer) and blower comes on when we think it might get too warm(also set on timer)

-we always ph the water to about 6.3, although it is kinda hard to tell what color it actually matches up with.
-the plant is indica-dominant, NL#5xSK#1
-we have only given the plants straight ph'd water for the past 2 weeks. i have a calendar of everything for the past 3-4 weeks on my sig page 2

thanks for the remember part, that helps, i was hoping to see the curling going away, but ill start paying attention to the new growths for clawing now.
