I honestly cant say what it was, my ph tester is obviously a peice of shit. Maybe they just formed weird early on and needed time to straighten out?

I dont have a proper ph test kit, but 2 days before the leaves repaired themselves i watered with a gallon of distilled water, compared to my typical half gallon watering with tap water.

needless to say im hooked on distilled water kiss-ass

Distilled is the best by far and it's all i'll use. Gotta get a ph kit, general hydroponics has one with the ph up and down for $15 and it's well worth the money. Ph is very important throughout the plants life cycle, too high or too low can cause nute lockout and u definately don't want that, ever! U may have flushed em a little with the distilled water which helped them out.

Glad to hear your plant is looking up! +Rep for the immediate action, others would have let that problem turn into something much bigger. Happy growing!
