To figure it out for yourself and learn from it research "transpiration"

you have been given some really bad advice, like the PH numbers for hydro instead of soil and the PH of soil is very seldom a problem I rarely check PH, there is no need

You need to learn enough to know when the advice is good???

The plant is not happy, and there are no strains that like heat/moisture stress

Oh and Zombie thread = Noob's leading Noob's

You had one experienced grower tell you the answer

I am have the same issue for abouth three weeks now and I have found that it is the heat my lefa have not changed color at all but when I cooled the room down a little it fix itself and it seens to be on ly the new lefs ner the light that do it. I go grow hydropnic so don't think that I'm over watering them all is good now don't woory your plants will make it treat them good!!!!

From the medical growers bible. Chapter 11, Water & Nutrients, page 256 (caption under a picture of a plant with curling edges or fringe):

"Leaf fringe standing up - leaf fringes that point up mean the leaf is trying to dissipate as much moisture as possible, but is unable to. This could be caused by toxic salt buildup, lack of water or heat stress"

Check your PH & PPM.. if you are watering correctly and heat is correct then it sounds like it's salt build up (which I understand to be a pretty common problem).

Good luck :peace:
This quote from the medical grower's bible has always mystified me. It says the leaf is trying to dissipate moisture, so then why can this be caused by LACK of water? Heat stress, I can understand, because plants transpire water to cool off. I'm not sure why salt buildup could cause a plant to try to dissipate moisture either.

Then most likely they are fine or if it is a MG problem, watch the leaves and you will know. They will be discolored starting at the tips and eventually will works it's way through the rest of the leave
Yeah, and what you said before is def true, if it's too hot they will curl up. How are you judging the heat, are you sure the sensor is right at the top of your canopy? It could be a substantially different temperature just inches away from the canopy top, so make sure you are getting readings from the right spot.
