How big are those pots. I ran into similar looking stuff on my last grow. My PH was out of whack and getting it under control seemed to help (and I was close to harvest). When I pulled the plants, I realized I was root bound. I don't know if that was the cause but seeing yor pics and what looks to be a pretty small pot got me wondering...

They are 3gallon. I posted a few days ago actually asking if it was a good idea to transplant to a bigger pot. got mixed replies. Ph may be a little out of wack because I just bought a digital ph meter.
