Leaf droop other problems

okay so my plants have not made ANY progress for about a week and 1/2 and its wearing me out trying to figure this one out. The healthy leaves on the top are drooping, the youngest leaves on the bottom are dying from the inside out, and there is a slight root discoloration.

I use an aeroponic system, with GH nutes at 400ppm now bc they are fairly young.

PH is consistent at 5.5-6.

room temperature is between 65-70.

Water temperature is 65-70.

I also use florasheild and diamond nectar at recommended GH schedule.

WTF!?!?!

PICS TOMORROW FOR SURE...SORRY. EVEN GUESS ARE WELCOME...I am absolutely stumped .

Raise the PH to 6.5.

When in doubt, flush.

Those are my guesses but I am a soil guy right now...

Why do you suggest that I raise the PH? I thought that 5.5-6 was prime for all stages of growth. Is this incorrect?

I also flushed about 3-4 days ago and since then there seems to be no improvement in the 9 plants condition. They all share the exact same symptoms as the pictured plant. Some top leaves dropping more severely than this one however.

Well, as usual people seem to be avoiding my post. I hope the pics inspire some insight. THANKS Everready for replying!

That's shitty. I wrote you up a big paragraph two times in a row, just to have it say the message was too short. So I tried writing another message along the lines of 'icfnjdbj' to see if worked. and hey!, It did. -_-

I dont know whats wrong with your plants man.

I don't know crap about aeroponics, but I do know that the bottom leaves of your plant look like the plant was overfed when they were developing and the healthier top leaves indicate the overfeeding problem was solved. I'd check into deficiencies also though, maybe the pros can help you with that. A lot of deficiencies can look like something else

Sounds like your plants aren't getting enough O2 to the roots.

They should be bright white in an aero system.

Do you have an airstone(s). Do you add any H2O2 to your solution? How large is your tank? Any Light getting to your tank? What kind of water?, etc...Could be a lot of things...the more info you give, the more likely you will get help.

Yes I am using H2o2 35% at a rate of 5ml/gal.

No light penetrates my system as far as I know....it really wouldn't be possible. System is factory made for pros...

I do not use an airstone, but how could that be giving me problems? Aeropoincs combined with h2o2 should provide at least sufficient o2 to the roots especially with temperature correct.

Roots were bright white, now slightly less white in some places, but not quite root rot mode...which I have seen before. I think this is because i raised the water level back up to the net pots in order to clean the roots, which may have been a bad decision.

Dunno what more information I could provide, but let me know if i am missing anything. Basically they are just slowly dying and have not moved a centimeter for almost 2 weeks now....and conditions seem to be near perfect for them. SO FRUSTRATED!

I have determined that the problem is root rot/death AGAIN!!!. I spent money on preventatives, made sure water temp was right, made sure no light penetrated...and still...the rot lives on. WHAT THA F!!!!!! WHhhatt is the best way to salvage these destroyed plants? Should I soak them in a high % of h202 like some suggest?

Should I clone from off of the top and just START OVER AGAIN?!?!!

uggh..how the hell did this happen.

I will bump this one for you, seems you need some expert help with that root rot...damn that sucks...plop those babies in some soil and grow on! Or hopefully someone will come by with some great help. Get more details if you can and some more pics(including those leading up to your discovery if you have them) and Good Luck!

LOL sometimes i do wish I just stuck with soil...

More details indeed!...I had not checked out the roots in the past 3 days.

Looked today and they look more ravaged than a 3rd world nations rainforest.

CHECK OUT THE PICS! Roots are actually building up some sort of film of rot matter/mold? or some such abomination, attached to the roots. Either way h2o2 seems to attach itself to the garbage...as seen in pics.

Soooooo newhooo QUESTION is, how to salvage these monstrosities.

I think when you raised the water back up...you may have damaged some of the fine root hairs that grow above the water line in an aero system. Until these grow back, its going to struggle. Be sure all of your jets or spray heads are clean. If you can, run it 3 min on 1 min off.

Hygrozyme will also help keep funk and dead root matter out of your tank.

Hope this helps.
