Leaf diagnosis request - burn or deficiency?

sandman, you are too much. You spend way too much, pump way too much into your grow, then come here looking for help. It's unlikely your plants will survive. If they do and you consume them, there's no telling what crap you're putting into your body. so like westcoast said, best of luck, because you'll need it as you really don't know what you're doing.
The grow stores sure make someone a lot of money and create tons of problems, which show up in forums like this. Do your research, your homework, read some books. You can't get the best info here, especially when it's too late as you've screwed things up already. Sorry, man, but seriously, you've got to learn from reading books before you come here looking for help. That's what I have to add.
 
Some people learn great from books and reading, others it only takes em so far and they need to actually try things themselves. To each their own. Learned my lesson here for sure, I will simply go back to my own thing and not ask for input.

Do you have a grow log? If not, maybe start one and then only people that care about your grow will comment, no clowns.

dude that's a grow by numbers response. A grow log will 100% help any new grower who has just started plot and define their progress.

allowing them to also map mistakes and success by their date and process.

I understand you got it hard for sandman but this is just bad growing advice.

if you are new, always quantify your progress with notes and details of your daily routine and values used and your plants reactions
 
Well, you have a good point. A grow log is useful. However, what I was trying to say was, don't expect a grow log to help you now or later without learned knowledge. But you're right, we all learn from mistakes too so I see your point.
No, I'm not hard for, to, or on... sandman. Grow by numbers... that's good, I'll have to remember that. If only it were so easy.
But I suspect if people used an adequate soil, for that type of grow, and avoided adding things, they would be better off. Just saying. No grow log required then.

I still think you are confused and assuming the plants in question are soil. Maybe actually read the thread next time.

I'll keep my log and notes for myself I don't feel the need to clutter the forum with them.
 
Not sure how much it matters but the GH feeding chart has an order to add your nutrients and supplements. Look on the lower left of their charts and they have a couple of blurbs about the sequence. It's been two years since I've used GH but I believe it's Silica, Cal-mag then Micro. Just a little piece of the puzzle to be aware of.

I wasn't referring to your grow, which is why I wrote in more general terms, for that type of grow. Maybe read my posts more clearly next time.
 
I felt you over did it on the chemicals and the plants look pretty good so far. I figured plain water, clean them out, let them die, harvest the yield, and be grateful. Do what you want, but time after time, I see people on here killing plants because they want to pump too much stuff in. You end up being a victim of advertising. I don't recall anyone using so much stuff and coming here and saying "I've got the best grow ever." It's always "here's the stuff I'm using and my plants looks bad." That's what I notice and I've been here for years. good luck with it.
