I cut a leaf of the mother, stuck it in rooting gel, then put it in a jiffy pellet
Its been 4 days and its looking preety good. The purpose of this is to see if it will grow ramifications and extra branches.

does yellowing mean roots?
i have 3 clones, fully rooted, and when they were rooting they stayed dark green the whole time...

thats what i read in most of the guides, yellowing in clones means that roots are growing. i might be wrong tho, m,ight be genetics too

Today i carefully dug it out and VOILA! i saw a small root. Put it back and im hoping that in 3 days the roots grow big enough for transplant.

By your experience in the field, do you think that other branches will grow?

I have tried this aswell.. I cut mine on the 7th of June and it's still sort of alive now...
I don't think it will grow though.

ohh looking nice man, hopefully itl grow.

I wonder how it uses the energy that it makes if it doesnt grow :S or maybe one set of leafs doesnt make enough energy so it could take a while till it grows

oh yeah and it could take like a month or even more to get used to the new medium.

Waste of time if you ask me. Why dont you just cut some clones and grow them in a shot glass full of water. Much more entertaining, and they actually grow and live.
