Leaf Bleaching - Exposed Roots?

12/12 from seed. Soil: 1/2FFOF, 1/2Happy Frog.

I am growing (4) Mosca Seed's C99Bx1 plants. 3 of them are timed on the same schedule (#2-4), and the other began flowering earlier (#1).
One of the plants started sprouting yellow leaves (#3), which grew with vigor, but never turned green. This plant grew at the same speed as the others, and I chose not to worry about it.
These shots are from 2 weeks ago. The yellow leaves are still present on the plant, but all new growth has been green like usual. The yellow parts of the leaves seem to slowly be filling in with green but are still a decent amount yellow. Again, the plant seems healthy all around.

They all grew in the same medium and everything. The only thing I noticed was that the affected plant had little white root tips growing from the base of the stalk, like it was trying to root from higher up the stem. Could these exposed roots be cause for the bleaching of the new leaf growth?

Enlightening. I'm not trying to solve a problem, as the plant is growing fine. All new growth is green. The yellow was only for a course of a couple days.

I'm trying to associate a cause and effect to enhance our knowledge of plant physiology.

hmm...well i really dont think its due to the root comming out of the stalk. Thats common, infact my last transplant i lost a lot of the top soil, and actually a few of those top roots were ripped out, and some just exposed to the world...It was the worst shock i saw on a plant its didnt recover from shock for about 1 and a half weeks, but none of my leaves turned yellow. On that same plant it got root looked, and that turned the leaves yellow, do u think maybe ur plant was root locked then?

I'm doubtful only because two others in the exact same pots, soil, seeds, etc. are not exhibiting this trait.
Thanks for the insight though.
