LCD grow lights with veg, flower modes?

Iv been doing research for an lcd grow light and have found a lot of information thanks to everyone here. Correct me if im wrong but it seems that there are not many lcd panels out there that can do both the veg stage and the flowering stage all in one. the 357 magnum states it can but are there others out there? if you get a panel like the blackstar 240w what do you do for veg stage, supplement with another panel? or does it not matter so much.

you can use them for both life cycles but there are also veg and bloom models.
There are guys on here that use hps lights for veg and bloom too.

So if I was just to get one model like the blackstar 240w for both veg and bloom, should I get the veg or the bloom model?

You're talking about LED (light emitting diodes) grow lights -- very different from LCD (liquid crystal display).

I use led grow lights and recommend going with full spectrum panels that you can use for both veg and bloom. Some companies even have switches that let you control the spectrums some.

I thoroughly know the difference.... have no idea why i didn't catch lcd vs led. puffenuff thanks for the reply but more specifically if you wanted to get a reasonably priced led panel like the blackstar, what one do you get? the blackstar that has more blue for veg or the blackstar that has more red for flower?

If youre set on one blackstar to carry you for the full cycle, youre going to want the one with more red. It should still veg fine but will flower better than one heavier on blues, and bloom is where you really want results. I personally use advanced leds, cost a bit more but better product build and warranty. I hear great things about the pro-grow leds from hydroponicshut as well, their prices ate good too.
