I've smoked store bought weed a few times where I smoke it once and then either thrown or given it away, having smoked mostly shit weed since I was a kid I'll never subject myself to it again if I can help it. There are many people who are in the weed industry for the wrong reasons, I feel those people might not always make decisions that are best for the people who end up on the receiving end of their poorly cared for weed. Investing my money into my own grow feels like one of the best things I've done for myself and those around me.

However I currently live in an apartment that I can’t grow in, and my full season outdoor plant I’ve got going won’t be ready for a few more months. I did just finish a couple spring light dep Gmo plants that turned out decent. It’s nice to be able to stop at the store sometimes and have my pick of huge variety though.



There is tons of crap weed at dispensaries. You gotta use your senses to find the good stuff in the mix, and which dispensary has the best weed for the price. I get excellent organic no till weed for $7-10/g.

Hehe I said I can’t grow in my apartment . Part of my day job is growing on a farm so I’m getting to scratch the itch. Outdoor is definitely different then the indoor I’ve always done. I don’t like not being able to control the sun . My boss is letting me grow a red plant on the farm and it’s gonna be huge. We are each doing one actually. Been vegging training the clone since December. Mine went in to 4x4x3 foot hole 3 weeks ago about 5 feet tall already. I’ve got 14 foot supports on it and hope to reach the top.

You should have taken the light bulbs. A few years back there was some program going on in Portland where you could sign up and they would send you energy efficient bulbs for free. They sent me 20 LED light bulbs. I swapped out the remaining incandescent and am now 100% LED in all of my lighting fixtures around the house. Except for the HID in the flower tent and light in the oven.
