Late flower

Hey all, new here. Put my plants outside august 1. And they took about 11 days to show any flowering changes. Would my first week of flower be considered when she started showing buds or on the 1st?

I go by flip day, it's easier

But neither matters for harvest...harvest when done

Going from day of flip makes more sense, simply because you dont KNOW when the plant itself is flowering, until you visibly see signs, which may have come days after flowering started biologically.

But like Bob said, its ready when its ready.. how many days of flower is an arbitrary number anyway, so really its whatever you think makes most sense to you

Thanks guys!! Glad i found a forum that is active!! This strain is skunk 1 and had been in my family for 30+ years. All those years and no one ever thought to care for the plants. My family is amazed at how great these look compared to planting 200 in a corn field and not going back till harvest. Times are different and i just want to grow this plant to it’s full potential. Also.. i have added a second photo to this response. Maybe you guys can tell me a little bit about this.. i have never seen new growth directly from a fan leaf... have you? This is on my mother plant which i recently cut down into clones. Pretty cool to see the plant do some different stuff.
