ive been growing my plant now since like a week or two before 4-20 and it still hasnt showed me any sign of sex. i dont want to stress it into showing me what it is because this thing is looking real nice and its my first plant so i dont wanna do anything wrong. its about a foot and a half to two feet tall (maybe two and a half) and i planted it in a small pot to begin with and i put a ghetto green house on it and it was huge from when it first sprouted. i was just wondering if being a late bloomer is a bad thing or if there is some way to tell if it is a girl before it has bud/pollen pods . it would really suck if thing turned out to be male after so long.

Uplifting story! No really! Is it better I transplanted early at 17 days to give the ladies a good amount of time to recover and get used to the new environment before sexing? To me it seems like it will help them stress less when it matters. Seedlings from the beginning always seem to stress I feel. Just like babies kinda?

If you are growing outdoors, remember that your plant wont decide to sex until your days become 12 daylight hours and 12 hour nights...this is when your females are triggered into sexing....if its a female, it will look like the pic on the left in the example... there will be two little silk like strands coming from above the nodes<--(i believe thats the term?). those two white strands come out to collect the males pollen to create their "young" which is what we call the seed....if you have males around when this happens you WILL have seedy weed:cry: example 2 on the right is a male and will produce NO bud or smokeable product so get em' out unless your wanting to keep your strain going....its kinda hard to tell what the male looks like in the pic but the female is quite distinctive...hope it helps...
