Speaking of NatGeo. They have a new series called Navajo cops. The first episode goes into detail about skinwalkers. Which is really surprising since Navajos will not talk to anyone about them. It sent shivers up my spine.

Did you know that there are 7 yes seven Nat Geo channels?

noi did not...i am real picky..i only get 2...but i hate when the people try to be the star of the show..just stfu and film with a little commentary ...but most animal related shows suck because the people and the graphics and sound effects...i like em raw and i don't want to see a human at all..only predator vs prey...walking dead is fantastic..i also watch justified and breaking bad.

That is to funny! I love seeing people going to DL their shows and getting rid of cable. HULU sucks netflix is the only thing worth paying for. I just DL Game of Thrones, we are re-watching the first season to get ready for the second! That show is such an amazing show! Yeah other than that I watch family guy or I am on the computer.

All the news does is piss me off! It will put me in an early grave if I watch it! I just get so dissapointed in where this country is going and the world for that matter! It is best if I don't watch it!
I agree about Netflix. $8 a month and lots of programming commercial free, that is the way of the future. And it is only getting bigger.

Yeah, I agree the actor change in Spartacus was a lil shitty, but hey what ya gonna do, the guy died. cancer i believe it was. I have no idea what a abercrombie model looks like. But season three has only had a couple of good moments in it, they need to build a better story line soon I hope.

I like historical depictions, like Borgias, the Tudors, Camelot (kinda cheesey, but I still watch it), Game of Thrones. things of that nature anyways. I see everything as strictly entertainment and dont really count on it being the end all be all best ever Show. Everyone knows Star Wars (the originals, not the money suck that came after) already gets that done.

5 years here bro! I won't let the media into my house like that again ever. I think I would literally get sick if I ever saw TV again. I'm down with watching shows and movies online and dvds, but that is it. Sorry you had to experience that shit the media pumps out. It's nice to not have to think about shit that don't matter or doesn't affect you.

[FONT=Tahoma, Calibri, Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif]I just watched this dramatization of a London teenager's murder, with a short word from his real mother and photos from his childhood and funeral at the end. Amazing shot from a filmmakers' perspective and poignant. Everyone in the room was silent the whole way through.

I'll post a link to the programme as soon as it's available online.

i love the op, i hate watching the news, but mostly b'cuz of those fake ass newscasters acting like every word they say is so important and acting like they gaf, when you know they don't really give two shits about anything they're saying...
the only trend i do like is that newscasters / weather people are getting super fucking hot lately.. it's the only thing that makes the news even semi-watchable, but i still prefer to get my news from say a newspaper or online or w/e instead..
i hate to admit, but i always have the tv on as a back drop while i'm online.. i mostly watch old shows, mash is a fave, the waltons, yah, i said it, jeopardy every night at 700pm as well.. teen mom, 16 and prego, i'm pretty bad with my tv, lol..
i once lived with some friends and we had no tv and i didn't miss it at all, and pretty much read every day instead.. wish i'd get back to that instead of sucking my brains out through the remote control..

I have been watching Netflix or downloading shows/movies for the last 3 years. Yesterday I got a new HD antenna that gets about 20-25 channels, I mainly wanted it for the news/special events/sports/etc.

I watched the news yesterday for the first time in a very long time and I got really depressed afterwards. All I can remember was people dying in a car crash, people being laid off and on and on about politics and birth control, also the news casters always feel "fake". The unfunny jokes, the awkward talks about their person lives and laughing about stuff that isn't even funny.

I never understood why I kept away from t.v news for so long, but since watching it last night, I understand that it is really a waste of time. Not to mention that a lot of t.v shows on are reality crap.

If something in the news is "very" important, friends, facebook, youtube will all be talking about it anyways.

So, when was the last time you guys watched t.v or the news?
I put my last TV under my Mom and she destroyed it with her industrial pancakes. Now I have youtube, less commericals (not quite)

I like to believe I do too until something else piques my interest (I have the attention span of a goldfish) and I forget to stop it & end up like 3 days past where I wanted to stop.
