Since I've started grow a few years back I've had an aversion towards buying seeds I'd probably end up killing, so I decided to stick to bag seeds until I had a pretty good bit of experience under my belt. So, I feel I've had a bit of success, and after this grow I'm going to start buying Fem seeds. So until then, I'm going to document my last bagseed grow here. Enjoy!
My setup:
Veg room:
- 39" x 39" x 79" Grow tent with reflective insides
- 400W MH Conversion bulb on HPS Ballast
- Grow Medium: 5 parts X Spahgnum Peat Moss, 3 parts X Mushroom Compost, 2 parts X Perlite, 1 tsp per gallon X Dolomite Lime
- Nutrients: TechnaFlora's Recipe for Success line-up
Flower room:
- The closet I used before I got the tent, flat white walls
- 400W HPS bulb
- Grow Medium: Roots Organic potting soil
Starter "room"
- 4' x 2' Light Fixture I made out of 2x 4ft flouros and 2x 2 ft flouros with an old HPS reflector
- Portable!
- Only used for about a week at a time
I'll post pictures of the setup later, when I can take better pictures. The rooms each stay at around 85 degrees, but thats not bad considering everything I actually run in the same room all at once (2 HID lights, 6 fans, a High-end computer, a 32" TV, and a waterbed heater. Maybe one day I'll move it out of the bedroom).
On to the stars of the show: The plants! I only have 3 out of the ground at the moment, in the veg room. Here are the pictures from 6/12, when I moved them from the starter room. I don't remember the exact day they popped from the ground, but it was definately less than a week before this set of pictures. Maybe day 5 or 6?

From here on out I can be more accurate about the dates, since my phone remembers dates better than I can. This next set is from today, 6/22, a mere 10 days later. Two fell over so I tied them up. I gave them some nutrients about 3 days ago, they seem to like it. I'm actually a little amazed at how much they've grown in so little time. Sorry about the poor quality of the second picture, it looked better on my phone.
