Damn if Wednesday wasn't a long day. On Thursday I got over to the JP patch. The Hurricane Head needed to be staked out again. I had to do some tree trimming to get room.

Peach in JP patch. Note the twist. 20 days of no sunshine will confuse the best of them. BIL had two males showing balls this week. My two Peach are the oldest ones, so maybe they won't get too screwed up.

It was dark thirty when I got to the Peach in the STL. So I hope the drooping tips are from a sleeping plant. But that is how the Peach in the double hole in JP looked right before they died from termites eating the stem. I put DE on heavy. Hope I'm not too late. But if it does cash, I will worry a lot less. This plant was a runt, and I put it out where it would get more TLC. It rebounded to the point it kind of scares me. Not so much for right now, but it's still got a whole lot of summer to go.

I had the alarm set for 0515 Friday morning. I was already enjoying a hearty breakfast of grits, granola and GORP when it went off. The high light of the {young stuff in} STL is the SV2. This is a new strain, so I know nothing about it. But it is looking healthy so far. I leaned 5 of the 8 over.

Most all the seeds planted last week are up. I got them moved to the holding grounds and under screen.

I had to move out some plants to make room for the new sprouts. I put 6 in the PP patch from the Spring crop. I think there are two Ass Cheese as well as this Sk X Sh/Sk in the 3 hole spot.

In one of the two single holes to the east I put a PN X SMC X GdR.
Not sure what went in the other hole. Maybe this AC. But have no fear, all are labeled.

I put 13 seeds in soil on Friday. There were only two good Prickly Pear seed. I planted my only B&S X Slo2 seed, as well as 2 AC, 2 GdR and 6 B&S X CP1 {in the smaller pots}.

I went to the FP patch late yesterday afternoon. Sadly without the camera. But all 6 plants were doing good.

Swung by the house for the camera and went on to see about the new plants in the BP patch. The 2 GdR looked alright,
but the Afghani X Shit/Skunk was looking kind of rough. You know the grasshoppers had to go for the bought seeds.

I stopped by the holding grounds and topped off all the new sprouts with potting soil. Had to water sprouts for the first time. Up to now I was having to cover them so they didn't drown. But the sun is giving me good growth on the sprouts. With luck they will catch the first round.

I tended the plants in the STL by the moonlight. Sorry for the poorly aimed picture. These are the CP1 Squared in the hornet nest hole. They are still pretty short for it, but I leaned them over.

While I was tending this patch, there was a fireworks display going on in a nearby town. It's 13 odd miles by the road, so maybe 8 or 9 skymiles. I could see a little of the diffused light, but only the tallest ones got up high enough for me to actually see them. Still pretty cool. And I didn't have to worry about being quiet.

SV2. I had cut some stakes before getting to the patch, and I staked out two more. Now the little one in the middle is the only one not to be leaned over. These are the fastest growers so far.
{Yesterday morning when I reached into my garden stash bag for some smoke, I grabbed some SV2 by chance. I hadn't really smoked much of it since right after I got it and was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty stony and didn't taste too bad for a diesel. Looking forward to seeing how it's going to turn out.}

I staked out several more side limbs on the Peach in the STL. I had cut a pile of stakes, but still ran short.

This morning I went to tend the HG and HGw patches. Planted a HH FP in the 4th hole of HGw, 10-15 yards south of the other 3 holes.
