Largest Plant a Hermi :/

Pretty sure my largest, hydro plant is showing both male/female. There is tons of white hairs all over, but then after some inspection last night found about 7 or 8 ball like pods forming. My fears correct in this being a herm?

I had a beautiful femanized hso blue dream herm on me. Think it was temp related as I was running 87/88f with 1500ppm co2. Sucks, sorry for your loss.

:leaf:rare:leaf: sent using rollitup app.......

Well balls.....

Hope I can fix whatever caused this on my next try.

Was bagseed, but also went through a variety of issues so I don't really have a clear idea of where I went wrong.

My temps vary from 73-74 daytime, 65ish at night

Water temps vary from 63 - 68

I did have some PH issues / algea when they where seedlings and I was trying to use a tote / figure out what I was doing. Suppose its hard to say with bagseed. Just rather hesitant to run my known seeds in hydro if its me screwing it up.

Will a stressed hermi generally keep herming once its started? Pulled all the male parts I could find on Friday when the first pics where taken. I have had more than a few stress's on this plant while I learned hydro, but now its producing flowers like mad and I combed through her today and only found one tiny pod that I easily could have missed but everywhere else seems to be pushing strong female now. Since I am new and this is more learning that anything, might as well keep her going and see what happens :p

I would separate the plants, just in case.

Once hermied/male, you risk it spewing pollen all over everywhere. However, your test of leaving it in flower with the others after chopping is better than my test ;)

What you don't say is how many plants you had, and whether they were all running in the same res.

Were these all seeds, or clones? Were they all from the same strain?

Its a 5gal DWC. Just have the 2 plants in the pic. The left is soil, right is the DWC.

both where bagseed, soil one so far has been pure female, DWC one is but its been through a lot plus bag seed so I am not surprised to be honest. Started in a tote, that got algea so I moved it to a different tote. That one cracked so eventually the basket ended up in this 5gal bucket. Then I left for a week on vacation and got back with about inch of water left in the bucket, was totally starved (figured it would happen but didn't have a choice). So after all of that this where I am.

watching for male parts as best I can, but they become increasingly rare. Hoping they don't explode back though towards the end. Flowers are popping out all over though :)

Been having increased luck with less and less male parts showing up, or at least that I can find. Flowers have really kicked in :) so we continue to let it go. Updated images. Seeded on 09/01/13, started flowering on 11/09/13 (if I remember right heh).

1000w HPS, DWC. Used GH 3 part and thats it up to now.

Thinking next time will be smaller plants for a faster turnover rate. Looking at possibly 4-6 DWC under this 1000w.
