are u a fuckin idiot bro, a gas generator to run that much wattage would be about 2000 bucks a month and u say thats cheaper than the power company ? your so stupid to think generators would be cheaper ? at $4.50 a gallon would cost to run that much wattage is INSANE, think twice b4 talking, i think your foot is so far in your mouth right now that i dont think your gonna be able to get it out.
ok well do the math, a 15000 watt generator will run for 10 hours on 16 gal of fuel. do the math. Its cheaper to run a generator. Keep in mind that PG&E isnt a flat rate. Its goes up a certain % on how much you use. But its ok. I dont expect you to get it. You can move along unless you have something productive to say. oh btw its about 110$ a month per 1000 watt light. just to give you a ball park figure to do your math.

hey there zonked. Clearly you have no idea what your talking about. Generators run at a steady RPM, they basically idle and produce a Lot of power for very little gas. Not like your car where you probably drive around full throttle burning fuel.

Even if gas gets over $6 a gallon, it will be way, way, way cheaper then to pay for electricity, and your eliminating a third party company from your whole situation.

Do your research before making claims, and whats the point of coming on here just to tell someone they are wrong when its clearly you that is totally ignorant and misinformed.

Clearly you have a lot of growing up to do before you should even think about growing.

Oh and have you even thought about the fact that diesel will run longer and cheaper, and you could run a diesel generator off bio diesel for even Cheaper... Or a propane generator. Propane is dirt cheap.

Its close minded and ignorant people like you, zonked, that cause problems in this world, your ready and willing to go make claims and argue that someone is wrong without doing any research, No offense to anyone in the USA but this is the reason the rest of the world dislikes the USA for their policies, Shoot first, then do some research? good plan.

Natural gas generators would be a great idea, especially if your already running natural gas c02 generators as well. Good call.

Even with all the fluctuations in fuel prices, natural gas and propane are not affected by the increasing gas and carbon taxes.

If your running generators you could be saving literally thousands of dollars every year just by not paying the extra taxes for gasoline.

No offense or anything. Whether you think it's justifiable or not, treating members of RIU in that manner is unacceptable, and ruins the good vibe of our community. In addition to that, you're compromising your membership to RIU. I think an apology on your part is in order for infecting an otherwise acceptable thread with offensive nonsense.

Thanks :blsmoke:
