Large open closet...help with venting!!

As title says...closet is large and open...I can have the door open in the room during the lights on period, no problem. Closet is 2' deep x 4' wide x 8-9' tall.

If I am not concerned with heat, is it OK to go without venting in the closet during the 12 hour dark period?

Also, is it possible/safe to hook a bathroom exhaust fan kit up to an extension cord? If I HAVE to use some venting, that is what I would do I think, ideally, and use PC fans down below for circulation.

Please let me know what you think!

Bonus Q: Any tips on making it light proof? I am thinking of just duct taping some black garbage bags together to make a loose hanging curtain that will stay snugly against the door when it is closed.

how big is the space between the door and your floor?? i have a good half in of space between mine and i dont use an exaust fan or intake fan. i just have a big standing ac unit in the closet on fan mode and just the sucking from the unit to push the fan causes air to suck into the room from all cracks and hot air will kreep out.. seems to work good for me, i do have tile tho no carpet so air goes out under door easier, and my closet im using is located in my living room so its in a very airy room. im always in here smoking and breathing

There is a space under the door, yes. I plan on having a PC intake fan near the opening and blowing up on the plants regardless and I'll likely have a fan mounted and blowing on the lights as well.

I could likely put a bathroom vent fan in the ceiling of the closet (attic), except the attic is somewhat finished and I don't know how I'd get under the floor easily.

In the short term, as long as I'm leaving the door open during the lights on phase so the air can exchange (will have window in room open as well), should that be enough to prevent CO2 buildup and heat accumulation if the closet is large enough? The closet will be open 12 hrs and closed 12 hrs with fans inside always on regardless. I realize I am leaving myself open to odor issues with no venting either, hahaha.

dude look at my grow, no vent at all in my closet! just get something bigger then pc fans! then are not big enough get some of thos small fans that turn or sumthing for ur space or get a fan like i have, or take an ac unit and put it on fan mode not ac mode cause the motor wont be on. heres some pics of how i do with no vent and just massive air circ.
