Land of Shmozz - Chocolate Mint, Cookies & CherryBomb

How's it growing everyone? It's almost spring which can only mean it's time for my favorite past time.

This year I'm ahead of the game and ready to go!

1x Humboldt Chocolate Mint OG
1x Barney's Cookie Kush
2x Bomb Cherry Bomb Auto

Started in FFLW and transplanted about 2 weeks ago into 70% FFOF 30% Perlite, and just started it on the trio regimen today.

Everything is in a 3x3 tent with a 300w LED (150w real) and a few shitty cfl's. My buddy is giving me a 250w cfl with a wing in a few days, so i'll have that in addition to maybe another 300w LED down the road.

Back for an update! a couple days after my last one, and things are moving along nicely.

I topped the Chocolate Mint and the Cookies Kush a few days ago, and the new tops are slowly popping up. Slight Nute burn on these two, so i'm setting back my feeding schedule another week or two. Other than that, I'm biding my time for some real vigorous growth. I hope that when i add some more light this week things really take off.

Update time!

Things are taking off here in my garden. It's been about 5-6 weeks in and my girls are looking beautiful.

First the Chocolate Mint OG:

Here's her at about 3 weeks, topped the week before and staying bushy. Stayed with just water until now and just started on Fox Farms Grow Big at half dosage.

4-5 weeks in and taking real well to the nutes. Bending the tops a little bit.

5-6 weeks and after a quick lst session with the ol' kitchen twine she's filling out quite nicely. slight nut burn, will feed every other other time for now. not going to flip her for a little while.

Cookie's Kush:

most recent pic. she didn't like the nutes quite as much as the chocolate, but i've got her lst'd and flushing her till she gets a little bigger.

Cherry Bomb Auto's:

just as they got into flower. I gave them a half dose of Grow Big during veg, but they did not like it. Next time i will just stick with water. The Ocean Forest is enough, at least during veg.

just the other day. Shorter than i thought they might get, but it's more of a novelty for me to try some auto's. I hope they stretch a bit during flower, but i'll be stoked for whatever I end up with.

Just a few days since my last post, and the girls are finally responding well to their feedings. I've been giving the Chocolate Mint and Cookies Kush a 3/4 feeding of Grow Big every 4 or 5 days (whenever they need it) and I've been tying them down as much as possible.
Chocolate Mint Day 39:
So many bud sites! this gal loves being trained and has been loving the grow big since the beginning. probably only 6-8 inches tall but as wide as the bucket. Minty smell.
Cookies Kush Day 39:
This one had some bad luck in the beginning, but is recovering well. I tried to supercrop just a tad to early and lost a top, but as a learning experience, I'll take it. Some nute burn as well, but is better since i transplanted into a 5gal. container.

I'm really pleased with these girls so far, and I'm probably a 2-3 weeks from my flip.

My Auto Cherry Bombs

These two are recovering from a little bit of nute burn during veg, but I think they are doing much better now. Just started them on some tiger bloom at half strength. and will feed every other time, since they need water ever other day. I'm glad to see that #2 has almost caught up to #1 in size. Definitely a little shorter, but i thought i was going to be a runt in the beginning. They both are blowing up with white hairs, but not many crystals yet. Still about only a week into flower, so I can't wait to see how they turn out! Smell so far is just a subtle sweet and sour smell, no hints of cherry yet, but it's very nice.

So glad my setup is almost 100% complete. It's running between 76F when the lights off to 86F with them on. Humidity is a tad on the low side, 22-33% but as the weather warms up, the humidity will rise in my room and i'll have a de-humidifier to add if it becomes a problem. I have a 6" hyperfan and 6x8 phresh filter pushing out the smell, and all i think i might add is an intake fan. right now i just keep a flap open at the bottom to allow some fresh air coming in. But definitely will add an intake eventually.



Since last time, i also sprouted my beans for my outdoor adventure. Which i may start in a different forum, but while they stay inside, i'll post em' here.

I also have 2 seeds I've found in some dispensary bud, so I'll probably sprout them a little later on and hope for the best. The rest are all fems, so i want to get them going before they go in the ground.

I'll update when theres something more to see. I'm going to switch my cfl bulb to 2700k when I get it, But i'm looking forward to about 8-9 weeks !!!

2 weeks since the flip and my ladies are a bloomin'!

Here's the shot from outside. The 2 Auto Cherry Bombs are up front with the Chocolate Mint OG behind it, and the Cookies' Kush is on the right under the blurple.

The CMOG and Cookies have been getting a full blast of FoxFarms nutrients every other watering, and have had no problems whatsoever.
The CMOG isn't stretching that much and is more minty than chocolate, but It's only one bean so I'll see how they compare to the 2 I'll be putting outside this summer.
The Cookies is kind of spicy, peppery almost, but very pleasing. It's stretching and is almost already 2x the height it was just before the flip. Hope it doesn't hermi on me like I've heard from Barney's stuff.
The Auto Cherry's I've been giving just water. Knowing what I do now, i think the next time I run these, I'll just use straight OceanForest and only feed later in flower if at all. I'm thinking i'm 3 weeks out on the Auto's, though i reserve the right to chop whenever i please. Hoping for about an ounce each.
