Yeah i have tried that before... they grow big and strong from it lol
Dr. Zymes Eliminator concentrate is what i used and it worked on thrips, which are usually harder to eliminate that aphids. 4oz per gallon, have to ph the water between 6-7 and use warm water.

Only other recommendation is Lost Coast Plant Therapy, also supposed to be safe til harvest. A lot of outdoor growers in my area use it.

I have tired the concentrated version of zymes and it seriously seemed like it HELPED them it was very frustrating. I know a lot of people have had great results with it but I just have not seen it. Maybe I will have to try some more and use it exactly to those specs.

Dont think im saying it didnt work for you, i originally bought it for mildew and it didnt do jack shit. So i definitely get it lol.
I also alternated between the zymes, sulfur and pyrethrin but i do not recommend the last 2 in flower at all

I second Green Lacewing Larvae aka Aphid Lions. The Hex frames from Arbico look really cool but cost a little more. I saw this video awhile ago and was sold on the idea of the Hex frames. It's like 7 minutes or so into the video.

I bought my ladybugs through Amazon by nature's good guys as well as beneficial nematodes and predatory mites. I had one shipment of mites come dead and they will send you another one no charge and make things right. I'm sure even if the second one comes bad (which is from it sitting in a hot mail box or truck) they will make things right in my experience. You could buy them tonight just check and be sure they can survive in your climate sometimes there are a few species I've never bought the lacewings so I don't know. Before hand I would also use yellow sticky traps before hand to try to get them knocked down, and if the aphids eggs or larvae are in the soil I would ditch the top soil and replace it, and add diatomaceous earth.
The first step is identifying the pest
Then the life cycle
Then knock down the population and apply whatever you plan on doing for pest control. I'm too lazy to look right now where they put their eggs but do a little research and come up with a good strategy! Like I said I would consider netting the plants in so the lacewings don't fly off or whatever. They're pretty cheap though

I'm lucky to live in a agriculturally rich area where we have a bug store very close by. I order and pick up on Mondays. Couldn't imagine shipping bugs around. Seems risky. (Dead bugs)
I don't buy ladybirds, as they are wild harvested, but I do have a nice bounty of them in the spring because of my apple trees and kale. Aphids love both and the ladybirds love them!
I take the juvenile nymphs and plop them on my plants. Only a few. Then if I can I'll release them once they turn full bug. They usually meet their maker in the fans though :(

Natures Good Guys is another decent option for predators. I've used both Arbico and Natures Good Guys and can say the quality from Arbico is better. Arbico also forces you to choose next day shipping on certain predators for a reason. I'm a fan of both companies but this is one of those times I'd go through Arbico.

And hey @Nizza. If you order from Natures Good Guys go directly through their site instead of through Amazon's 3rd party service. It's way faster and with better communication. :bigjoint:
