Lady Bugs

I live in an old house in the hills, our attic has always been infested w/ lady bugs. I know they r "good" bugs, but what concerns me is if they r nesting there, means there must be a food source for them near by.
My garden is at the bottom of the attic stairway, there are a few ladybugs patrolling my grow area. No signs of any other bugs.

Heres my question. Do I bomb the attic and kill my friendly bugs along with anything else. Or leave the Lady's alone and let them do the pest control?

There are no signs of any other bugs.

Are those the BIG lady bugs? I'm may be color blind, but that doesn't look red to me.

I live out in the country and they always come in my house for warmth. Lol. I put some in my garden for pest control and I have never had a problem with spider mites. :)
