the spring weather is finally arriving and its causing hundreds of lady bugs to come out of my new home. I dont figure any bugs are good to have around plants, but they only seem attracted to the lights for heat rather than the plant itself. Anything i should or COULD do about this??? Anyone else in the boat???

Yeah its crazy, theyre everywhere when i go check on them. My window sills will have dead lady bugs all over it just by the time i get home every day. Im tired of vacuuming them up and flicking them off my plants. But i guess its good that they dont plan on eating it up like other insects do. Glad no bees like you said

you can buy lady bugs.destroyer mites, predator mites, preying mantis. There are dozens of insects you buy to put in your garden to protect it from the bad bugs and lady bugs are good ones.If you notice most lady bugs you see now in the US are the brown black orange japaneese version and not the old pink and black north american variets because all the farmers releases the bigger japaneese lady bugs as they eat more and are fast breeders and they have over come the native ones

They wont hurt the plants at. They wont really be eating right now anyway. When ladybugs "wakeup" for spring there is only one thing on thier mind and thats sex!!!!. They will tak off and fly towards the sunn then look for a mate. If you have lady bugs in your grow room right now they will fly toward your HID light and pop like popcorn. Once they mate and make babie ladybugs those babies or hungry as hell and those are the ones that eat aphids! they will be gone soon
