Got 20 santa maria in space about 7ft by 5ft, runnin 3 hps 600's, 5 weeks in now lights on 12/12, my mates got exactly the same setup as me but has about 2ft more space either side, his plants are now out growing mine, i know more space equals bigger plants but im just looking for general tips and advice on how i can improve my setup in such a small space, i think iv overdone it a lil this time sticking 20 in there, all help appreciated. iv added a few pics so you guys can see my set up.

if your not having heat problem then that sounds good. you can easily fit 20 plants in there as long as you dont grow them too big. thats about 2square feet per plant init? 1ftX1.5ft ish?
i doubt your mate has bigger plants because of a couple of extra feet space. use the biggest pots you can get in there to help ward off some problems later on. make sure there is plenty of air flow. if a leaf isn't fluttering at all then the air may well be stagnant around it and it will be suffocating.

i find the things that make the biggest difference in growth is light, drainage, nutes, air flow. get these in the right ballance and you wont go far wrong

well i havnt got a thermometer so i havnt a clue how hot it is exactly but when im feeding them i sure do sweat my back out, so you recommend i get a thermometer and try to keep the temperature constant. what temp should i aim for? also on the ph side i just mix 10 litres of water with 50ml of coco a and 50 of coco b , obviously i started with lower amounts of nutes at the beginning of the grow , but have moved up now im flowering i also add 10ml of booster to the 10 litres each day now, im feeding the full crop about 15 litres aday now, any more suggestions welcome.

Well you are obviously not ph-ing your water.... Optimal is 6.5ish so the plant can intake all the necessary nutes. As far as temp goes you want 70-85.
