no offense but organic grows are becoming a thing of the past, its really all about the nutes and chems now. it helps to produce a healthy and thriving plant. just think of it as being a vegin compared to a meatveater, one is frail and pale and the other is strong, long and prosper.organic is good but its like the atari a great thing of its time but old technology.

gl with your ganics

I'm a vegan and strong like a bull. Bad example.

As an actual vegetarian myself, I'd rather smoke inorganic pot than eat meat :P, but I do see the correlation. My grow is pretty much organic, unless you count artificial light as inorganic. What if I were to pour tiny amounts of nitrogen on the stuff? What if I smash a stalactite that I got naturally from a nearby cave just to add some calcium and potassium to my brew? What if I get some potassium chloride (salt substitute) and mix it with water, then let the chlorine evaporate, then pour it on my grow?

I'm kinda confused, heh. For the meanwhile, my indoor grow is basically organic... mulched soil, etc. I think the limiting factor is the carbon (the stuff that the plants actually grow from).

You eat what you want, I don't mind :) Soymilk rules!!! Protein shit is annoying, though... I kinda wish I could get 50g of protein from soyburger...

Just one update to your ist, Prince Fielder was vegan for less than a month and couldn't hack it. Personally I was a vegetarian for most of my life and switched to vegan; I could only make it about 6 months and couldn't hack it myself. Props to anyone who can honestly keep that lifestyle up, a bit of cash certainly helps.

I'm coming up on about 8 years vegan and almost 22 vegetarian. I'm kind of a sloppy vegan though. I would never buy milk, butter or eggs for example, but I'll buy regular bread that I'm sure has some eggs or butter in there and I'll order pancakes in a restaurant that have eggs in there too I'm sure. I credit the sloppiness with my longevity and not getting burned out.

So many people fall into the All or Nothing trap and figure well if they can't be perfect then screw it. It doesn't work like that you can do as much or as little as you want. Every little bit helps the animals or your health or whatever reason it is that made you want to ease off the animal by-products in the first place.

Money wise, I think vegan is more pricey initially, when a person eats the faux meat products and you have some waste experimenting around with new things, etc, but once you get into it the food bills go way down as you buy more and more unprocessed food.

BLEAH! I won't drink anything if I have to drink soy milk. :x Just sayin'.
It is all what you are used to. Stop and think about where milk comes from for a second. It seems normal because we are used to it, but grown people keeping cows pregnant so we can suck milk out of there feces covered and infected tits isn't entirely appetizing when you look at it with fresh eyes.

I love soy milk. Every grocery would also have almond milk and rice milk too if that is more your style.

Ummm...cow teats are washed with antibacterial soap before milking and every tank of milk is tested before leaving the farm. I am from old farming stock and have milked my share-o-cows.

I agree that most people have a closed mind. Very sad, I thought maybe the younger crowd may have learned from our mistakes. Everyone on this forum has one goal and there are many divergent paths to follow to the same conclusion. We all can learn if we can keep our minds open.

vegetarian (vej'a ter'e an) noun var. North American Indigenous Dialect (1.) Lousy hunter.

You do realize half the poeple on the vegan list are dead, most are washouts and has beens, and lenny kravitz makes me so angry i want to punch him.

I don't have the fortitude to be a vegan. Someone gave me fake chicken patties once and i really wanted to punch them too.Kudos to anyone who can eat like that.
