La Diva Grow... 1st time using autos...

808, since this is your first time doing auto's I want to make you aware that there is a some controversy out there about topping and super-cropping auto's. Some think that because their lives are on a distinct timeline (instead of photo-driven), you never really regain the positive effects of it and actually loose yield. Do a search "topping auto's" here in Rollitup or even Google. However I think you are fine, LaDiva is a different auto in some respects. My LA Diva bushed out like crazy without any topping whatsoever, I think I had 7 finishing cola's as a matter of fact instead of one main one you see on most autos. The longer 70 day seed to finish is a plus in your case....here is a pic of mine when it was at the ~4-5 week range....you literally can't see through it...it was so thick I wondered how the light got to the inner leaves...they stayed green through the entire grow...

you got any finished product pics or a pic of the plant deep into flower?

Hey jela. I read alot on autos before i started and i kno exactly what you are talking about... thats why i planned on only using some lst. Unfortunately, a accident happened invloving my light fixture which resulted in one of the girls getting topped. Due to this i now have a normal plant, 3 lst'd plants and 1 topped one. Kinda funny how it worked out. Ill be able to see which works best for this la diva strain. So far the topped one looks like it will recover nicely. We shall see tho.

808, sorry to hear about the accident but good to know we will learn something from your trials...hope the best for your LA Diva's. LST seems like the best option IMO for auto's. I'm new to this hempy method and it's just wild how everything I've done just pumps on the fat bushy babe's. For Dr. Greenhorn I will post these pics of deep flower..... sorry fro any repeats.

that's some tall colas! looks like you got some good weight off of that auto, sweet.

Love the pics jela. Did you lst that plant or did u jus let it do its thing and grow natural. Im thinking with five ladies i should have a good amount of yield. What kinda weight did you score off of her? If i get a qp off all five together ill be happy. The more the merrier tho...lol nice job on ur grow btw...

Cant wait to get home... wanna see how much they have grown in a few days...

Hey 808, First off congrats on your first auto grow and everything is looking good including your "topped" one. The only question i have is your dating from when they sprouted out of soil or when you transplanted after tap roots.

i wish i saw your thread alot earlier. Im doing a la diva grow myself and im about 20 days ahead of you although i have now germinated 2 more seeds so i have one about 45 days one about 35 and two that are like 4 days old. Look at my sig it has my thread u can take a look. The one thing that really blows is how much bigger everyone's La Diva's are. my first and oldest is such a shrimp was only like 6 inchs tall. started out CFL and turned outdoor for flowering. Dont mean to hijack your thread but you might see something intresting in my thread. Im also thinking of taking the oldest out in a week. This morning to top it all off i may have found balls on my ladies or it might not be since ive seen some red hairs coming out a couple of them.

I started counting my days since they sprouted out of the soil. Ill check your grow out... i love this strain so far. Im always looking for more info on it.... good luck with your girls.

Speaking of autos goin hermy... i read that if u just keep plucking the balls off they will eventually stay female. Dnt know if its true but y not give it a shot.

I think that only applies to natural hermieing, such as when the plant is is flower and it develops nanners near the end. If it herms due to stress that's something entirely different.

Ok cool... thanks for clearing that up.

Sup guys and gals... just got home from my trip. Checked on the girls and wtf. Girls grew like crazy. There hitting their spurt for sure. They are all looking great. However one of the lst ones still has some smaller central growth. Thee other one took off tho. Nice full big leaves formed over the weekend. Im loving this grow so far. White hairs coming up all over. Ill be taking some pics shortly.

Watered them real quick tonight. No nutes. Just pH'd water only. The soil looked dryer than usual as today would have been my regular scheduled watering day. Will have to alter my schedule to their needs. Looks like temps hit about 84 degrees this weekend and a 51% relative humidity. Pics soon. Alohaz!
